As we head into the weekend, it's time for a leisurely read of "threads you may have missed!"

Obviously, the big news this week was a redesign. It's a little daunting and dizzy making, but fortunately there's a guide for that. Monte and Mortimer are up to hijinks too. Those wacky monkeys. Never change, M&M.

But let's face it, that's not what you came here to find. You're here to see some unsung heroes and stuff you may not have seen while adjusting to change, aren't you?

Let's see... on Wednesday, our fourth and final (for now) haiku contest concluded. Folks are pretty creative. You probably had no idea!

Next week, PemberDucky is apparently hitting the big 3-0. Be sure to tell her that her text doesn't look a day over 29 this way. Perhaps I can make her a cake in my skillet, but I have no ideas and this sad lonely thread could use more expertise anyway. Come help me out?

sputnik4life asked us all "Have you ever had a dream inside of a dream? What was it about?" - I have no idea, as I tend to forget most of my dreams within minutes, but you may have a good answer.

mrtbshaw tried to start up some political chat - but there's also a long running thread over in World of Woot Wine political fans may enjoy. Jump in one, jump in the other, chime in on both - up to you.

While I was over in wine, kylemittskus reported on an interesting development regarding wine at auctions and is welcoming commentary. Warning, you could fall down a fascinating rabbit hole for hours... but maybe that's what you're looking for this weekend. Speaking of hours, I'm not sure how long it took kalira to put together the Buying/Selling/Trading Shirts Feedback V.3! info, but it's a great effort.

Or maybe you just want cute and not so serious things, like KidFoot. We're not here to judge. You could also be hypothetical and answer gideonfrost's question if you're in the mood. Deals' Ask the Community section is really great at coming up with hypothetical questions. They're pretty knowledgeable at real things too, so you should ask them all something. They also come up with a lot of weird yet totally true things I had no idea about (thanks rookie3001).

I think that's it for wandering around the forums on a Friday ... but you're welcome to keep at it, and to also let me know if you've visited these threads and what you think!

Please note if a thread isn't mentioned, it isn't that we've not seen it or think it's awful or whatever - we just thought we'd provide some jump points to encourage everyone to do a little exploring!

Or maybe even start your own topic!

Enjoy!

I'm just hanging out, really.

just don't ask Deals' Ask the Community section about where your order is! or it's off with your head!

Mebbe so, but look at it this way: without your head, you're safe from the Deals Zombies. Speaking of Deal Zombies, where has everyone's favorite DealZombie disappeared? I miss the ol' shambling thing's comments.

Wine may not heal all things, but it sure will make you feel a whole lot better.

Thanks for the mention, inky! And you probably don't want to know how long it took Thankfully I like to make spreadsheets when I'm bored (yes, I know I'm weird), so that made it a bit easier.
