Just got mine. Aside from the color being completely different from the picture (spruce is actually drab green) the hammock looks to be in new condition and in good working order. All necessary hardware included. Documentation included clearly states that the rope material is 100% Polyester.

Yeah, and I read on the Internet that it was new, Pawley's Island, and polyester... so it must be true!

I also read that Santa Claus will be elected President in 2012 just before the world ends. The Internet is full of truths!

I'm pretty sure the Woot! buyers got duped on this one. Although I am glad they dropped the price $20 for the "fake" Pawley's Island branding.

My box only had loose rolled up used hammock hand tied with string, NO paperwork, No hardware, NOT the color in the ad, Mine was back at Fed-ex Monday morning.

Yeah, I researched and asked Woot questions. Response was the product is as advertise, including the weight (350lbs max). Later email was received about the manufacture clarification and cancel/discount option. I let that expire to continue with the order.

Received the shipment last night, came in a Pawleys Island box that was turned inside out. Hammock appears to be new inside sealed plastic wrap, which I haven't opened yet. Hardware and 1 page instruction are in separate sealed bag. Instructions says 250lb max. What's the Features??? Is this a scam?

Emailed the man again for possible return or clarification...

I dunno... I'd be concerned about anyone who needed instructions for a hammock. :-)

geez, your analogy implies that what I wrote is not the case. Posting information from what was in the box is hardly the same thing as "read on the internet". People like you make it unpleasant to share.

Sensitive much? Slow your roll, camper. I was referring to the statements you cited in the documentation, not your testimony.

Now when we circle around and it's your turn, please share.

People "like me" aren't bad. We're just misunderstood. :-)

Well, I received my hammock and it is well short of the hammock described in the Woot ad. The hammock that I received is a bare 58" long rather than the 80" described in the ad. I can't even lay on it at an angle (if it would even fit in my hammock stand, which it won't since it won't stretch long enough to reach). I've asked Woot to replace it with the proper hammock and am hopeful that will happen, they've always been good about returns the few times things have been screwed up in the past.

I just finally got the hammock stand set up and went to attach my hammock to it. Upon rolling the hammock out for the first time, I noticed that the hammock looked short. I went and checked the specs on the site and measured it out. While the bed is 80" the hammock itself is only 11.5 feet. Not the advertised 13 feet. Looking back, this probably explains why it was shipped with the box inside out. As of right now, I'm not at all happy with this purchase or with woot.
