Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I prefer one of those pens with the interchangeable inks. You know with the black, red, blue, green, purple etc all in one with the push tabs.

When I saw the title, I was hoping it was different kinds of pens.

Definitely fountain pens, by the way.

METALLIC!!!

Ball point (Staedtler) or Sharpie, or even Rose Art.. Long as it writes.

If it's for work... PINK! I have never lost or had a pink-ink pen stolen.

For personal use, like college notes, ANYTHING but red, black or blue... and preferably a combination

Blue ink still looks professional but allows you to generally tell pretty easily when you are looking at an original document or signature. Plus I like blue...

I'm Part of the PEN Fifteen Club. It stands for the 15 colors in which Sharpie Pens come.

Write down "P E N" starting on your right-hand ring finger, going towards your left hand (Middle finger is "E", Index finger is "N").

Then write "1 5" starting on your left-hand index finger, going towards your left-hand pinky finger ("5" should be on your middle finger).

Put your fists together to proclaim your allegiance.

Black, usually... depending upon the application and/or my mood. And the pen. My favorite pen ever was blue/black ink.

I tend to agree. Also, since I work in an office that actually still uses faxes, it's an easy way to tell at a glance which is the original.

I always said I was a bit racist when it came to my pens... I'll only use blue ink!

Where I live (suburb of Baltimore, MD) there's these GREAT pens left everywhere on purpose as part of the marketing campaign for the company... the pens are for Big Boyz Bail Bonds. I absolutely am OBSESSED with these pens and, um, liberate them from every restaurant, bar, and store I go to.

Black for everyday use. For work (see sig) it has to be RED!

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

No, whats racist is changing something that was naturally brown, healthy, and growing into a white sheet of paper! They used the same process on Micheal jackson

That's my reasoning exactly. I am a paralegal, though, so I might have a bias based on that.

What? No love for the pencil? It writes much longer than a pen: about 35 miles compared to a paltry 3 miles at most for a pen.

I usually buy all my pens from pen island. They have excellent customer service.

They are excellent, aren't they? We have one here, right between a Therapist Finder office and the Kids Exchange store.

I'll just go sit in a corner with my pencils.
I like the smoothness of the graphite/clay across paper. And the pencil sharpener is a great way to destress at the office without anyone getting hurt ;)

I personally would steal your pink-ink pen. LOL

But, I use whatever promo pen my job gets sent that I like, so either blue or black. Free pens rule!
