Just tested mine out right now. About what I expected for $25. But whenever I record in the HD mode, the video comes out completely distorted and tearing after about 10-11 seconds of recording. This didn't happen with the HQ or Webcam modes.

maybe i am stupid but i recieved my camcorder today and when i tried to charge it the power light will not turn on to indicate it is charging, i left it pluged in for several hours and the power will still not turn on what do i do?

Try pressing the power button on the top for like 30 seconds? You might have to do it twice.

Got mine 2 days ago. Will not recognise my sdhc card. The model is a 2120 by the way, not a 2100. I did the online chat with RCAaudiovideo.com and they sent me a UPS label to post it back to them for repair/replace. Kept saying Invalid Format. Memory Card Removed. Nice prompt customer service...so I'll wait and see. Memory card was a Class 4 Sandisk SDHC 32 G.

Finally opened mine and it will not retain a memory card - the internal latch will not engage at all.

Anyone else having memory card reading problems? I used mine for a couple of days with no issues, and as of this weekend, it no longer sees the SD Card. I tried a second card with no success, and the RCA website has very limited troubleshooting options.

Any insight into the power cycle? I've done this a couple of times and it seems like nothing is happening.

I finally pulled this out charged it up, took it with me to a meeting (I'm a reporter) and taped the meeting.

Got it home, loaded it up and I have no sound. I have tried a bunch of things, but there is no sound at all. Any suggestions?

I guess mine is broke too. Charged it, powered it up, inserted the SD card, then it powered itself down and would not power up again. Tried the 30 second "power hold" to no avail (x2). Waste of $35, sadly.
