Nope. I'm pretty sure that they decided to save time and just send all the leftover crap to ME. :D

Has anyone gone to look for him to make sure he's okay???

I don't think many people understand that there really isn't a truely stratigic way to deal with the huge influx of traffic woot gets with the -Basket of Crawfish- offerings. It's basically equal to a DoS (Denial of Service) attack that would take any site offline. Give Woot a break!

Well the fun of getting a bag of goodies has always been making it threw the server crash and scoring one or many times not.

Its all part of the fun.

Col.Crap and the crew do their best and that's all we can ask of them.

I check the site every day cause you never know what goodies might be there.

That said , if the gang at woot would fill my box full of rc planes I would be over the top happy . I just loved the tent in my last box ,but don't think the mail lady did. ;-)

We ust love us some WOOT

And it would give us the ability to make things like, oh say instructions on how to make the Chuck Norris doll speak again float to the top. Add a sort by votes and this would work.

Edit: Oh, and the post with instructions on how to look up your shipping info using the reference number wouldn't have to be repeated on every page of the Bucket of Coral forum either.

So you are telling me the company that runs one of the largest cloud computing services in the world couldn't handle the traffic during a woot-off? I doubt that.

I think it was a poorly configured site redesign, that wasn't necessary in the first place.

Which gets me back to my original point, Amazon is killing Woot! It's all downhill from here...

Good luck the lucky Bucket of Coral winners this month ... I'm in crap withdrawal. Luckily the $5 all you can ship policy encouraged me to buy enough crap this woot-off to make several of my own bags.

Of course, I'm not nearly as creative as the Colonel!

Hey there, Colonel Crap.

Hope you are safe and not being held captive by renegade Roombas.

Sadly, I was not one of the lucky 559. But.....I have an idea.

If you'd like to test out any server renovations ahead of the next "official" Bucket of Coral offering to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again, I'd be happy to step up and selflessly volunteer my services to be part of a focus group for that purpose. It would be a huge sacrifice of my time, you understand, but something I'd be willing to do....for the good of all the troops, sir. Just let me know when and where the deployment is expected, and I will be right on the front lines, to let you know if the endeavor is successful.

May the Crap be with you all!!!

Deprived, I am. Of all the items I bought during the WootOff (several/many/myob), not one has arrived in a Woot! box. The boxes are half the fun. Well, part of the fun. They're fun. Are they a thing of the past? OTOH- severa- uh, some- haven't shipped yet. No Boiling Odiferous Cowpatties, no Woot! boxes, ten days to go before -uh- never mind.

I'm actually glad it's taking a bit more time. I want to be there when it arrives, and right now, I'm chillin' at my parents home and won't be back at my home for a week. I'd say if it ships after the 4th, I'll be good to be there when my Bucket of Coral comes in. :D
