Why won't the mike work with a PC? My wireless ASUS headset works just fine. What's in there that allows the mike to interface only w/XBox?

Mike doesn't like to play with the PC. I think it's a racial thing. However, you might get the mic to work with it.

They make pretty good headsets the Siberia V2 is my go to headset the retractable mic is just really nice compared to those swivel mics most headsets have.

Only 1 purchase after 4 min? Seems everyone's spotted that the mike doesn't work w/a PC, which means it's useless for Skype, etc.

As long as we're waiting and moaning about missing the Bucket of Coral, was anyone else asked repeatedly to log in, even though you were already logged in? Every time I got something other than a 503 or other error, I'd get excited until it turned out to be the login page again. Walrus Toting Halibut?

Full specs there. It's a nice headset, tech-wise.. it's just a pain that the microphone only works on the XBOX 360.

I see they are really lining up to get these bad boys. I'd say this Holy Mackerel was planted so they could take the order processing servers offline without having anyone notice. That will give them plenty of time to work out the crash kinks.

its compatible with everything you would expect. (you know things with a usb port PC, Big Mouth Billy Bass, whatnot) they are just pointing out the xbox specifically because it comes with whatever adapters are needed for it.

I fixed my post after rereading that this specifically says it doesnt, the mic on the Siberia V2 does work with windows even the XBox 360 labeled version, but that is a corded headset so my mistake.

Also, have you compared a retractable mike to one on a flexible stalk? You're right about the swivels - you know it's going to break. The flex mike on my headset works well for storage and use.

The mic on this headset DOES NOT WORK on a PC, or Macintosh, or Linux.

It only works on Xbox 360, 360 Elite, 360 Slim - XBOX live.

Seriously though, if you're an xbox owner and don't want to pay $12 more for prime shipping at the zon, these are a good deal. Less a good deal when you consider this is a wootoff and it saves a lousy $12 vs the price on amazon tho...
