Amazon comments for the product complain of the Android Market / Google Play not being on the tablet (unless installed manually). Is that accurate?

I just bought the refurb a few days ago (2 day shipping). I have only had it a few hours, and while it is no ipad, I am pretty impressed with it. I haven't done any rooting or other stuff with it, and it works very well as is.
