Here is something that's right up your alley. They're called MyZone

I didn't read the reviews but they appear to be just as reliable (which is kinda hit or miss) as today's woot. You'd probably want something along the lines of these for TV viewing. Much easier to set up.

These RCA's are twice as much but the reviews are more favorable.

Hope this helps!

Umm, I would say for you to reconsider if this is your reasoning not to get them. I wear glasses, and I have to say if this headset is getting in the way of your glasses, you might want to check if you are wearing the headset correctly (or maybe your glasses...?).

These sit in your ear, and hang down the back of your neck. They don't even come close to touching my glasses.

I also wear a hat with them on as well with no issues.

Edit: after playing with them a little, I can see the issue if someone's glasses are a little longer past their ear. Mine miss at that point though.

Just returned a pair of these to Costco that sounded prettty good, but got really uncomfortable after not too long (like, less than the length of my workout). I'll go ahead and blame my large cranium for the discomfort.

Anyone have advice about a set/brand/model for large cranium sufferers ?

PS: One thing I found odd in the little instruction book: They advise you NOT to put your phone or media device in your FRONT pocket, as your body may block the signal. I was like Walrus Toting Halibut ? but had no signal problems with my phone in my front pocket.

I just returned a pair today that I bought from Costco @49.99 new. Had high hopes but, be careful. if you have even a normal sized head, these are too tight. The lady at the returns counter said a lot of them had come back because they were too small and uncomfortable. I think they must be modeled for Chinese heads.

The sound quality was good, not great, but after a couple of minutes wearing them, they rally started to hurt. Tried all of the included sized ear buds, and there are several sets, but no joy. The darn things are simply made too small.

I went through two pairs of these (although I think one of them was the S9 model because they were all black). They both broke after using them only a few times. I used them for listening to music while jogging because running with cords sucks. I don't remember exactly what went wrong with the headphones, but I believe it was that the buttons simply stopped working on both pairs. Thankfully, Amazon has a great return policy.

They were comfortable while they worked though; they are nice and light. These may be worth trying for $30 (I think I paid at least $50, probably more), but it's a risk, from my experience anyway.

I use the Motorola S305 headphones now, and they've been great for at least a year or so.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you're asking. You want to plug your headphones into the adapter and sync that to your phone or whatever? I'll look into it.

Here is what you're looking for I think I suggest using it with bigger headphones though, not quite 1 dollar headphones. It's called the BlueBar GoGroove. I think that might be the perfect solution if you love the idea but don't like the headphones supplied. You're going to have to spend almost twice as much but it might be worth it to some of you.

If you're a little more handy here is a DIY guide. Requires a little more work.

Does anyone with glasses have a pair of these? I have bought a similar bluetooth headset before and had to immediately return them because they were very uncomfortable behind my ear with my glasses and were forcing them to fall off my face.

It's been mentioned before but I'll repeat it and bold it. If you wear glasses or hats these headphones might cause you some discomfort.

There is a fairly well received review of these headphones from The On Button. Youtube is literally full of these reviews.

There are literally at least 10 here. Reviews and Unboxing Videos. If videos is your thing click that link and go crazy.

NO NO NO! Please, I beg you DO NOT buy these headphones (sorry Woot, love you) but these things are terrible! So terrible that I had to log in just to make this comment! Sound quality is terrible, I can hear the people next to me at the gym panting on the treadmill! On top of that I tried to return the defective pair I bought during the last Woot which was in April and I cannot even begin to tell you the absolutely unbelievable ordeal that I am still going through with Motorola over my returned defective headphones. I sent the defective pair that I bought from Woot (I thought they were defective because the sound quality was so terrible, I didnt realize they all have terrible sound quality) into Motorola for a replacement and buyer beware they charge you the full cost for the replacement. I then sent the defective pair back after receiving the replacement and to this day (July 5th) I am STILL fighting Motorola to get my $89.95 back! Unreal. I've written to Motorola about this and it falls on deaf ears because their customer service is based overseas and their people are coached to always first apologize and then blame the issue on 'computer problems.'.

Anyway, I will never, ever purchase another Motorola product again. This thing is junk and has cost me countless hours of my time and I'm still awaiting an $89.95 refund from April.

Please, do not purchase these! Go to your local Costco, they sell them there and see for yourself how terrible these things are.

I'm sorry Woot!

CowboyDann wrote:Wow!
Woot sold over 12,000 of these last time they were up for sale.
They also sold out before Lunch Time!

Anyways, there's the previous woot where there were nearly 300 comments about these headphones. It looks like these aren't that great, just kind of middle of the road headphones. maybe even marginally worse than that.

Yikes, sorry to hear about that. If you read my other comments you will see I'm letting people know these are middle of the road headphones and you're getting what you pay for. Also going as far to suggest some better alternatives if you want to pay a little more money.

Moar money than this unit, and that doesn't include my $1 headphones. They best be waterproof, cuz the only way to make them cordless is to wrap it around my head in a sweatband.

Yes, middle of the road at absolute best! I was so excited about these during the last Woot but in retrospect I'm so sorry that I didn't take the advice of others and spend a bit more $$ for a much better pair. Anyone considering these really should read through the comments of the last Woot. I, too, ignored them because the price was right and got exactly what I paid for, a piece of garbage that's now sitting in my junk drawer.

Got them last woot. I have one tip: make sure you read the instructions... I almost returned them because I couldn't get them to fit. I realized I was putting them on upside down more than hour later.

They work with all Bluetooth iDevices, as well as many others. IPod touch 2G or later, iPad all generations, and all iPhones I believe.

If I remember correctly, they sold out before noon last time! Don't waste time! Get em'!

I could have sworn the Ipod Touches had Bluetooth but I must have been wrong. Regular Ipods (and touches) will require an Adapter Like the one i posted earlier.

I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to Ipods. I just double checked on wikipedia and it says Ipod Touches 2 3 and 4 have Bluetooth.

Shouldn't these work with Ipod Touch?

I own a pair of these and their predecessor. Theyre great for phones, acceptable for music ( can vary upon source), and I've found them to be very moisture resistant. Great for working out.

They also fit comfortably on my rather large head. Can use for 2-4 hours without noticing them.

Bought a pair of these last time they were offered. Immediately understood why there are so many units available for them to refurbish and sell again.

They suck, even at $25. Not recommended.

Has anyone ever tried to wear these under a motorcycle helmet? Surprisingly (or maybe not...), there really aren't any good wireless audio setups for motorcycle helmets...

there are some setups for helmets (and some lower end helmets with built in systems), but they are mostly designed for communication with the passenger or other riders in your group an not good for music (particularly at the price they sell for), and no one wants to listen to me cussing cagers either...

I bought these last time they were on here. I guess I have a ridiculously large head they're reasonably uncomfortable. I toughed it out and got used to them so I could run with them. Around halfway through my run, they start freaking out and shut off. I thought something was timing out, but after it showed that the battery had suddenly died without warning, I figure sweat's getting in. I haven't gotten around to sending them in on the warranty yet.

I have 2 pair of these, 1 red, 1 white.
They sound great, they pair easily & they are very comfortable.

I use the red with my iPhone 4 while at work. I run a service route & at times im a good distance from my iPhone & they always stay connected. In this heat I sweat a lot & thats never been a problem for these headphones.

I use the white pair with my home computer for watching movies late at night. I purchased a rockfish adapter & it paired right away on my HP W7.

Id buy a 3rd pair but i just dont know what id do with them ...

About half year ago, I snatched up a LG Tone HBS 700 from Amazon for $38 new and only had about 200-300 very positive reviews. Today, it has grown to over 1k reviews and still maintain 4.5 stars. I really want to get another one, but have never seen price remotely close to when I first purchased it (fluctuates up to $62 now).

The refurbs of the LG Tone sell for around $40 after shipping on both Amazon and eBay vs this Motorola refurb for $30 after shipping. I'd take the LG.

Did you get a defected pair possibly? I wear these while bowling (use my ipod nano for working out for its size/weight), and if I turn these up, everyone at the table can hear my music, that's how loud they go. Your set might have had an issue, because when I use these while bowling, they drown out everything else around me, and help keep me in the zone.

On the negative, fit doesn't work well with glasses. The little ear buds also have a tendency to fall off.

I purchased these the last time as a back up set, because the price seemed right, but....I have to think that anyone who believes these are comfortable and have excellent sound quality just haven't tried other models. These headphones pale in comparison to the Plantronics Backbeats. Trust me - spend the extra $15-$20 and try something else. These are stiff, uncomfortable, the sound isn't great, and honestly, they look super-dorky.

I have gone through two of these and while I loved their performance, fit and convenience, their reliability leaves me in much doubt.

First set - battery stop taking a charge after having them 11 months.

Second set - one earbud stopped working after two months.

Motorola wouldn't honor the warranty on the replacement pair, even though I only had them 2 months, since I had purchased the original pair 13 months prior.
