gross!
heavytizzle wrote:I also received my pair today. "Breaking them in" right now as I type this and I have to say that they're performing better than expected. The lows are a bit lacking, but I'm just going to be using them on jogs and in the gym. Very pleased with my purchase, thanks Woot!
P.S.-Someone earlier in the discussion thread was wondering if the refurbs would be clean or not...I had to throw out the pair of ear knobs that were on the unit upon arrival due to dark flakes inside it. Very gross. Used a wipey on the headset and it's good to go. Thanks again!

Hi all, I haven't ordered from woot in a couple years -- is it normal to get the following message when I try and track the package?
"Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office."

I suppose it was too much to expect my S10-HD to pair with my Wooted Motorola Xoom Wifi (ice cream sandwich but soon jelly bean); however, it pairs ok with my iPod touch - so I guess I am good?

rufflez wrote:It should pair fine with your xoom. You just need to go into settings and bluetooth the pair. If it doesn't seem like its working, kit the settings tab next to the device on the xoom bluetooth menu and make sure you have the correct profiles setup. Whenever I get mine, I'm going to test it out. I use a jambox around the house though with my android tablet with no issues.

those instructions should be very similar, just tablet interface of ICS.
Motorola is sending me a replacement, I found that my xoom is covered: http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/AU-EN/Consumer-Products-and-Services/ANDROID-TABLETS/ci.MOTOROLA-XOOM-AU-EN.productCompatibility

You realize that the top part is supposed to go beneath the ear, right? When I first put mine on, the top part naturally rests on top of my upper ear and is definitely too tight for comfort. But if you sort-of pull your upper ear out and let the top part fall behind your ear, it fits very comfortably on my head. I've been wearing them for hours and no complaints here.
And for audio quality, after hearing everyone's reviews I was convinced they were going to sound terrible. But let me put it this way: are you an audiophile? Then no, these are not Bose or Beats or whatever. Are you a normal music listener? These sound great. Slightly less bass than the headphones that came with my iPhone, but otherwise practically same quality.
I subscribe to audible and I think they are GREAT -let the top part fall behind your ear (! Just expect my replacements to work with my Xoom)!
OK, got my replacement S10-HD and at first I could not get it to pair with my xoom, but it works with my wife's xoom? Then I tried it again with my xoom (I activated Groove ip lite as this looked to be the only active difference in our xooms? Wonder of wonders I was able to pair my s10!)
I am super puzzled exactly what I did but now the replacement S10-HD sounds great with my xoom wifi (and my iPod touch)!
It appears I am responsible for the cost to mail back my original S10 to Motorola (I suppose that would have been the same to Woot)!
