All of the bags have been on woot.com/offers/etc.... and have all been posted early in the day, as seen by the "time to first woot" in the sales stats. Many are multiple hours. So, they are posted under obscure URL's, and then woot decides times to post a link to the URL.

Simply put: the links are all (were all) active, but the URL's are unknown until Woot! tells us what they are. Unless you have amazing guessing skills.

This just caps off my week. Came up to Reno to celebrate my 30th birthday on Monday. Went to bed early, not feeling good. Spent two days in the hospital after waking up in agonizing pain and stuck in a hotel room until I'm well enough to travel now. And no Balloons of Celebration to show for it... I am a sad panda :p Happy Birthday to both me and WOOT.
