I got my wife a vacuum for Christmas and an Echo trimmer for her birthday.

Turns out, if your wife's a farmer she doesn't want jewelry, it tends to get "lost" in an animal.

A diamond ring no longer sparkles when it is slips off inside a cow while trying to pull a calf during birth.

I can't sit and watch a video all day because of work, I can't get on facebook because of work, our servers are too slow to get a Big ol' Celebration at work. Man, this work thing is screwing up my Wooting.

After I saw this on Woot the last time it was offered, I researched it since I have two long haired dogs and both hard wood floors plus carpets to see what the reality was. What I can say is that since I bought mine (and I did buy a new one since you get a 5 year warranty) is that I have never been happier with any vacuum I have ever owned. I have been a faithful Kenmore (Sears) canister owner for over 25 years and I HAVE NOT USED MY KENMORE ONCE SINCE GETTING MY DYSON!! It goes from hard wood to carpet with no adjusting and it sucks more crap out of my carpets then I knew was there and it does so every time I use it which right now is almost every day since everyone is shedding. I am actually surprised how much I like my Dyson and would recommend it to anyone who asked. My only caveat is that you may want to purchase it new for the 5 year warranty. Sorry Woot... forgive me!

1000 apologies. I just like to take a cheap shot when I see an opportunity. Still, I'm surprised that a phone OS would try to be so ahead of the curve that it alienates its users of current technology in place of future technology. Guess that means I shouldn't upgrade my phone for awhile

Jobs wrote a pretty good explanation of why Flash is dying: it's a proprietary language that can be duplicated with open source tools. I actually really likes Jobs manifesto on it. I read it and was like "OK, that makes sense."

The decision was made by Adobe, not Android. This isn't like the iPhone thing where they decided 5 years before it was a good idea to not have one. There's ahead of your time and then there's crotchety old guy.
