I searched on google for "woot.com" (without quotes) to see what other "social networking"-like profiles they had, found that they had the flickr account, and checked it. Whaddya know, they had that photo with the link on it posted.

I also find it interesting that it took so long for anyone to find it: "Speed to First Woot:4h 39m 43.669s" (assuming the sale was added to the website at the same time the photo was posted on flickr).

Got an email that ended:

"P.S. And keep your eyes on the rest of the Woot empire today..."

What the hell does that mean? I was looking at woot sites, but instead

That gets to be a slippery slope. Do only charter members get to post on some things? Is there a certain amount of time you need to be a member? How many purchases is enough? At its root Woot! is a store, and its not some members only Sams Club type of store.

They don't require a purchase before you have an account and can post.
