Knife Fight!

Knives can seem so straight-laced and boring. After all, they just stand there, rigid and tall, waiting for you to wield them. But not these bad boys! No, these CRKT and Kershaw Knives are foldable, which means they can do fun stuff like play hide-and-seek! Finally, some knives with a sense of humor!

CRKT and Kershaw! Who'd win in a knife fight?

I'm just hanging out, really.

I purchased these at the $12 price several weeks ago. Got two and wished I had purchased more. These are awesome knives. Sharp, well-made, and open easily. Very happy with my purchase. I had several friends ask where I got them and they were dismayed when I told them they were sold out. Even more so when I told them what I paid for it. In for 5 more.

Great Buy! The Compound is a solid piece of craftsmanship, also got it a few weeks back at this price. I'd be in for another if it weren't already gone.

The picture of the Kershaw Asset is wrong on the "Knife Fight!" page but if you click on it you get the correct image...

Kershaw knives are fantastic, especially at this price. The locking liners are super-durable, the knives are built tight, and they take a wicked-sharp edge with minimal effort on some Spyderco stones. I grabbed a bunch of Tremors when they popped up a while back, and it's now my standard outdoors carry knife.

I picked up two of the Kershaw Compounds on the last sale. The build quality/value is unbelievable. I only wish that I would have bought a few more, they would've been great gifts. Thanks Woot+

You can get the Kershaw 1940ST for only $2 more on Amazon (when you account for shipping since Amazon has free shipping).

This offering is just a bit to big for EDC. I purchased several of the smaller Kershaw from the original go-round and have the Kershaw Drone from that Woot in my pocket right now! They have been great EDC knives and have already been heavily used this summer on multiple family and scout outings. Each of my scouts is equipped with one.

I really like Kershaw knives. That said, the other Kershaw's that I have have all all American made. It's too bad they gave in to greed.

Awesome, nice of you to buy 10 so 9 other people couldn't enjoy this deal.

The Kershaw Asset is a bargain on other sites where you can get it for about $22 plus shipping.

$9.99 is a no brainer. If I didn't already have 2 of them, I'd jump on this.

Advertising these knives with the title "Knife Fight" is irresponsible of woot. Knives are dangerous and many end up in the hands of thugs. Would not want to get into a fist fight with some thug carrying one of these in their back pocket....

So true! The American made Kershaws are *much* better quality! I have several of each, and there is no comparison between the US made knives and these Chinese Kershaws.

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but there's no safety lock to prevent it from accidentally opening. Not really that much of a big deal if you carry the knife tip down with the back of the blade wedged against the pocket seam.

There is a liner lock to secure the blade in place when it's open. I would not recommend stabbing some phone books with the knife, as it'll probably lead to some severed fingers.

I bought both the Kershaw Compound and the CRKT Crawford. Both great knives and worth the purchase. The Crawford is handle is a bit abrasive to your pocket contents, scratched my wallet.

They are both good knives! Five or six years ago I bought a CRKT (Columbia River Knife and Tool) EDC (Every Day Carry) M16. It has been an excellent knife. Very light and solid.

I was going to get one of these knives, but the one I wanted was sold out by the time I saw it. Bummer

You should NOT buy your ten year old a cheap chinese knife like these CHI-Shaws.
Buy him a Colt AR-15 instead.
Then you can teach him how to never take a knife to a gun fight.

Good parent.

More than 100 Woots (RipRap is better than everybody else, according to WOOT)
stop asking me to send you my used words. I recycle!

Agreed. Compared to what you can get for $40, these are junk. I'd rather spend the extra cash. But for those who are they type of person who throw away a knife when it gets dull or just like to look at them, go for it.

A spring assisted opening knife is really not the greatest thing to give a kid. Find him a small lockback that looks like an "old person knife" so he doesn't want to show it off to his friends and try to play Rambo.

I just received mine today, and I don't know what else I could have expected for $9. It looks up super-tight, there's no play or wobble at all, and the blade is pretty sharp out of the box. It opens up pretty smooth, and the flipper works well.
