Once you introduce the supernatural than anything is possible, flying monkeys, raining toads, (not to be confused with reigning toads) and Microsoft being able to compete with Apple and Google in the phone/tablet space.

So far it seems only the In-your-crapday-suit have the heavier hauls.

I have an in at the post office and can get mine a day earlier than scheduled. (I work there.)

Smartpost is drop shipped by fedex to the usps. In most post offices the packages are dropped off too late to get sorted and out to be delivered the same day. Some places get them early or the carriers are there late enough to ge them out the same day they arrive at the post office. Some of the smaller post offices have the packages dropped off at a nearby post office to be sorted and trucked to them.

I will update the tracker and post my weights later.

I'm lucky to have of those post offices that are big enough to get the packages directly, but small enough that they can still manage to get it out on the same day (they usually get it before 8am, and have everything sorted by 9am)

can you possibly explain why it's not sent to the nearest fedex and then to the post office? mine goes to indianpolis and then to my post office (in central illinois). i have lots of closer fedexs.

One of mine looks like it's just about the same dimensions & weight as your life jacket package... Which is good - my daughter is about due to get a new one!

It is a different division of fedex. They use different warehouses for sorting and transportation. I think but I am not sure that the truck drivers that transport the packages are contract and not fedex employees. I could ask if inquiring minds wanted to know.

Can't always go by the FedEx info. Have had mine arrive as described, larger, smaller, on time, later, etc. I just view that as part of the fun/anticipation.

so out of boredom i mapquested the path from dallas texas (origin site) to berlin wisconsin (next step in my smart post). i notice it's listed as a 17.5 hour drive. is it wrong that while they are driving thru my town i want to stop the truck and make them give me my boxes so they don't have to go to wisconsin then indiana before getting to illinois?
