Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I want a Nick Fury movie. Seriously, covert ops action in a comic-book universe starring Samuel L. Jackson... how can it not be awesome?

A Green Hornet movie that doesn't suck. The script that Kevin Smith wrote and Dynamite Comics published in comics form would be 10x better than the movie that was made.

I don't know too much about superheroes, but I think there need to be other kinds of comic book movies. Like Y the Last Man or Rachel Rising

Reboot the X-Men with them fighting Apocalypse. It would have to be as long as the Lord of the Ring movies though. Or it would need to be a series of movies with how much and who all is involved in the story line. OH WAIT!!! That's given the idea that they go with original story lines from the comics and don't give it to some Hollywood writer to do from scratch with this own spin.

Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool was pretty good. I don't know why there's hate for his performance.

Want:
1. Wonder Woman
2. A better adaptation of Daredevil

The Flash! Barry Allen, not Wally West. Second choice would be Nova, followed closely by Dr. Fate.

How about something not from a comic book universe. Something original, perhaps, instead of a rehash of 40 or 50 year-old story lines.
But what can one expect from studios that only want to deal with built-in audiences?

All caps + bad spelling/grammar = Your argument is invalid. To your point however, these aren't on TV. Nobody's going to 'accidentally' see Joker attempting to blow up hospitals full of people. That, and these movies aren't made for kids (They're PG-13 almost across the board) either.

Teaching our kids violence is good? Seriously? Did you ever watch Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry? How many times does a character get shot in the face by a gun of any form in those cartoons?

In other news, I vote they reboot daredevil entirely. They should somehow go back in time and remove any existence of that other movie altogether as well.

They did a Nick Fury movie. It starred none other than David Hasslehoff. It was so good it went straight to video.

I voted Deadpool. I was disappointed enough that the X-Men movies were basically Wolverine movies guest starring the X-Men. But then they went and gave Wolverine his own movie because... you know... he didn't get enough screen time in the X-Men flicks. I'm pretty sure Deadpool was in the Wolverine film specifically to get me to watch that pile of crap. But that was Deadpool in name only. His Common Sense never started tingling. He had no comic awareness (or movie awareness in this case). He never even just punched a girl right in the mouth for no good reason.

I understand and agree that sometimes you have to change around a few things when going from comic book to big screen. You have to remove some inter-dependencies if you're going to use a story that relies on a lot of established backstory. You have to simplify characters a bit. You have to change the look a little so super hero costumes don't look ridiculous on film. But what happened to Deadpool was an abomination. (No, not that Abomination.)

I have to go with Aquaman. Superman is happening, and I love the character, but an Aquaman movie CAN honestly be an awesome thing to behold. Then again, that's what we said about Green Lantern. And Steel. And Fantastic Four. And Daredevil. And . . .
