I certainly hope people aren't stupid enough to get one of these instead of the Google Nexus 7 devices (have one, love it). Presuming not, then I'll see you guys tomorrow when they finally sell out of these.

For $49 more you can have a Nexus 7... I choose the Nexus 7

To be fair, the Nexus 7 features a7" screen and this is the full 10" screen.

Size does matter to many buyers. So a 10" screen with ICS at same price??? Seems like a good deal.

Likely upgrade to Jellybean in future.

This is hilarious! And I wish I could tell people this without getting cussed out.

Has anyone used this that can speak for how webpages look? My wife has an iPad and webpages actually look like webpages as opposed to loading the mobile site like on my tablet. Any advice either way? (I like the 10" screen size so the Nexus is out.)

Whoever that self-important genius was on the last item talking about "hur durr I can't believe people manually refresh durr get a tracker app with push notifications."

#1 rated tracker app, TrackWoot, $0.99, "push notified" me that a new item had been posted 4 full minutes after the fact. Good luck getting a Bagpipe Oak Carving with that kind of response time, jerkface, you keep on using those apps and let all of us "plebeian manual refreshers" continue to get the deals phirst. (Seriously Woot? You change f i r s t to It's SUMMER!?)

I have the smaller model of this - the A100 with the 7" screen. It's very useful. It's my main tablet, and yes, I have more than one, including an iPad.

But that said, I like it for it's size. I can fit it in my pocket. This A200 would not fit.

Also - the stupid AC power adapter plug thing - BREAKS LIKE CRAZY. I had to replace mine TWICE in less than 6 months of ownership. Now Acer did replace it for free, but it was still garbage that I had to do that at all.

Also, if you are thinking you will just charge it over USB - no dice. It only charges with the wall plug thing.

I need some precise nail clippers. Make it so WOOT! staff.

I just had a yard sale and have a bunch of crap left over so if anyone wants a b of c containing a bag and atleast three pieces of crap for 5 dollars....you are welcome to email me.

We've had our Acer Tab for about 6 months, and we love it. We use it as an e-reader/web browser/android game player mainly, and for those tasks, it does an excellent job. It is great for kids, but my wife and I use it quite a bit, too.

It has an excellent battery life (charge it once every couple days with moderate use), though it is pretty heavy, so watching movies while holding it gets tiring after awhile. I have a ton of movies on AVI format, so I just put a Micro-SD card in, and I've got my own personal movie theater to take with me.

Funny, these were just on sellout.woot a couple days ago.

Nexus 7 is only a 7" screen (the A200 is 10") and the $199 Nexus is only 8GB storage (A200 is 16).

And a big technical difference: this thing has a full sized USB port so it can connect drives, keyboards, etc.

You're getting a much different machine than the Nexus 7. Better? Nah. Different.

Doubt it, all the other sites are moving slower than here. Woot really has achieved saturation. Might have to wait a bit for the Brigade of Campers

I have this tablet, and it is a good buy. Sure, it has no rear camera, but the USB port allows me to connect my DSLR and edit and/or share its photos. I bought a cool USB keyboard case for this, so I can type rather quickly on the go without fear of my keyboard losing charge. The port also accepts mice, hubs, and PlayStation 3 controllers!

Additionally, since this comes with the Amazon App Store as well as the Google Play Store, I can get a free daily download and versions of some apps that don't have the hardware requirements of the full Play apps.

No, it's not a Google Nexus, but it is a great 10" tablet with a lot of customization options.

This is an excellent tablet if you aren't waiting for the next generation. I have it and it's a solid and well performing unit. The only hardware shortcoming of any note is the absence of a rear facing camera, which I personally don't see the need for.

that is only because it requires 1A power not the 500mA that your usb port supplies..

if you got a dual usb Y cable that can use two usb slots then it would charge via usb/computer just fine..

The only reason stopping me from getting one is that it powers over a separate charger. I'm so glad Acer finally learned and fixed their latest release line. These are good tablets and the work great; just needs that separate charger :\
