Got in on the solar hat with USB port, else I'd buy.

Looks like it will work with a few things...anything with a mini usb as well. Check out the pics.
Of course it won't look all cool attached to your phone, but you can pop the panel on the dash of your car and charge it up, I suppose.

this will likely take days to even half charge your phone, just FYI.

Iphone only. The usb/mini (or is it a micro?) cord is for connecting the phone to your computer to sync with iTunes and what not.

Where's the one for Android phones? Those are the ones that need constant recharging... I have to keep a charger near me at all times.

You dont have to have it attached to the phone to charge it

I'd guess it's more for the little bit of sun it could get while you are outside with it,in a building with a window,in your car,etc. Like when you're walking and not texting... Maybe it even would work a minimal amount when you're talking on the phone outside, if you don't cover it with your hand?
