I bought one of these a while back to use as a wireless digital picture frame. Grabbed floating image from Google Play and works awesome!! Total crap as a tablet though, so hopefully you don't expect anything else out of it :-)

Did the Crapshoot game get sent off to defunct game heaven? Or is there a link to it?

I miss that irritating little theme song as the log jam and monster heads came down the road. It always "made" the Woot-Off for me.

Yes, but this piece of crap has never been this cheap. All hail the $50 froyo.

i bought one of these last time it was up for a normal woot. absolute garbage. built on mips arcitecture so you can do basically nothing with it.

Avoid this unit. It won't play most video games, it freezes up and the resets erase your data. The software is buggy, the tech support is dodgy. Management will not answer any e-mails or phone messages. You won't be happy, trust me.

At $49, you can afford to place one of these in each bathroom of your house, if your one of those magazine rack in the bathroom peeps.

Bought one of these last month. Almost returned it, since it didn't work until I did a hard reset, so if you get this and it doesn't work, do that first. It runs like a moped trying to get on the freeway; very underpowered. If you use the browser, or even if you download another browser, odds are you will stay online (through wi-fi) for a few minutes before you get knocked off. I was able to actually watch youtube videos though, even though they even say on their website you probably won't. It is a great kindle reader, but could not get it to accept Kobo reader app software. You can't download from Android marketplace, even though it is an Android tablet. You can download apps as long as they don't require too much processing power since it doesn't have much. Expect an underpowered tablet that is mostly a Kindle reader. Excellent when it comes to power usage; it sips. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE, but this is NOT a Samsung Galaxy, so deal with it.

So TT, recommend me a food staple in Dallas. I am travelling to Dallas for some future job prospects and will have a day to goof around. Nothing BBQ because for me, KC BBQ is pretty hard to beat.

eeehhhyeah... i bought one last time.. never could get it to do jack shizzle. i like the picture frame idea though. i might just do that if i cant offload it on ebay. lol

Hope this helps any of you that's on the fence. IIRC this can't even play Angry Birds smoothly, so don't expect a lot out of this and you should be fine.

I always thought about getting this to have a digital recipe book in the kitchen, but alas. My laptop is doing the job just fine for now although it takes up a lot of space.
