I used to own the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system, they were the cleanest sounding speakers I've ever owned. The highs were exceptionally bright and clear, and the Subwoofer produced more than enough bass. This speaker system would be great for someone that already has a surround sound set up, but wants to upgrade their speakers. Now if only it included a Subwoofer...

uhhhh....and a receiver....you won't get much sound out of these without one.

This isn't a bad set of speakers and the price is certainly fair. They're comparable to the Energy Take Classics which sell for about the same price.

Pretty good for listening to music and definitely nice for home theater. Compact and look clean. If I didn't already get a set of Pioneer speakers from a previous woot-off, I would definitely consider these.

These are awesome speakers! I spent almost $600 for them a year ago. Add a big 12 inch sub with powerful stereo and you will sound better then the movie theaters. I don't know how loud they will go because my wife yells at me to turn it down, even when she is on another floor, but they sound great!
I also own a Bose System that was cost much more and they don't sound as good.

I would love to buy a set of these but I simply cannot justify the cost...
