I just bought the upgraded model of the mint for 260ish at BB&B. This model doesn't come with the reservoir cleaning pad (this is the 4200, and the cleaning pad only comes with the 4205 and higher), but this is still a great deal. I have a Roomba, and these two devices paired together makes sure our floors are perfectly clean every day. I can't recommend the mint any higher, especially when you compare the price next to the scooba (same end result, different processes).

i've owned one for a year now - and i LOVE it... i have a golden retriever/cockerspaniel mix that is in a perpetual state of shed. i set it on the floor, go to work, come home to mostly hair tumbleweed-free floors (i say mostly because he resheds faster than it swiffers).

it's quiet, its low-profile goes under my sofa, it scares the cat, and my friends all want to just watch it. what more could i ask for?

it's not going to replace your weekly "real" cleaning, but i still highly recommend it.

I really just came here to get some thoughts and opinions on the Mint and aside from a posted video made by someone else, I have learned nothing. Thanks, guys.

I am happy that many of the complainers are saying that they will never return to this site. Without their complaints to sort through you should have a much easier time getting to the thoughts and opinions about the displayed items. Happy wooting.

And bonus...more crap for the rest of us who stick around!!!

Here's a real question/concern...will my dogs attack this, or cower in fear? Will they get used to it? Anyone with this, or something similar, have any insight/experience?

i don't know your dogs' behaviors - but mine was largely unimpressed by it. they are extremely quiet. mister ignores it completely.

Nice to read some information from users. My first thought was "great, a motorized Swiffer" and visions of having to stop the device and replace the pads every 15 minutes.

Seems that's not the case at all. While I'm still hoping for Woot to bring back the Neato bundle at a Costco or better price, this is pretty tempting.

Sugar 'em up and send 'em home

Consider it the final nail in the coffin that was woot... The Borg (Amazon) has now officially integrated the star ship Woot into their collective... Shed a tear and move on.

You do realize that if the complainers DO actually curtail their wooting, that profits will slip and Amazon will likely push crappier deals to boost the profit margin or eventually fold the company completely... Not sure if you should be cheering the demise of fellow Wooter my friend. They may just be the first ones off the sinking ship.

For the most part, positive reviews! Let's hear it for a non-roomba hard-floor cleaner!

Thanks so much for the reviews. This was very helpful.

I'm starting to get the feeling that the complainers are a vocal minority. I've had my say, sent it to beta, built a bridge, and gotten over it. The only merger that I remember ending painfully was when Geocities got acquired by Yahoo. Everything was peachy, until last year when they said they would no longer be hosting the private geocities free sites indefinitely. That was a pain. But it's also a testament to the fact that the internet isn't forever - and if Woot lasts a little longer because they were acquired by Amazon, I will continue to support them by being a vocal pro-wooter.

You might as well just buy it from Amazon, that's where it's coming from anyway. And it's really not that great of a deal compared to Amazon's price.

This product worked great, but only twice. After 2 weeks, we would turn it on and it made nice noises while sitting in the same place in the middle of the floor. We replaced batteries in the GPS controller, cleaned everything that moved and it still sat in the middle of the floor. Now it sits in the middle of someone else's floor because I gave it away. JUNK!

That's a bummer. But you had a 1 year warranty with Evolution Robotics! Could've sent a quick gripe to them before giving up entirely, no...? :/

Not sure if you should post that? This slightly-nsfw-flowchart will help.
