I'm guessing throw up and then go to sleep.

Why did I think one more would be a good idea???? Because I only had to walk 2 blocks to get home.

Morning all! Thanks for the b-day wishes. It's the big 4-0. yikes!

Going over to Dad's new place this afternoon. He's cooking for us/me for my b-day. This is a defininte benefit to getting him moved over closer to us now - as he is a most excellent chef.

got everybody moved to their new places. still shuffling stuff from my place around to get everything out of niece's room. so I'm still not completely organized, but almost.

I went to the emergency room Wed night.

I ate a few pieces of Runts candy.

My face/neck suddenly started swelling. When I say suddenly - I mean within 2 minutes I look like I had blown up like a balloon on one side of my neck/face.

I already didn't feel good - dust, allergies from moving - made me congested. So I had a headache that suddenly got much worse.

scared me & niece, so went to the ER.

I'm fine. Sent me home and told me to suck on a lemon.

Turns out you can get a stone in your salivary gland. When I ate the runts, I evidently had a stone that clogged up my gland and caused the temporary swelling! Talk about feeling stupid!!

And I will NEVER live this down at work. VP of our group told me to go "suck a lemon" yesterday. My desk was decorated for my b-day - with the normal stuff. And runts. And lemons with things like "for emergency use only" and "sorry you got the runts". And a gallon of lemonade.

*sigh* At least it entertained everyone!

good morning everybody! kid happy birthday! glad the runt experience was no worse. ed good luck with your procedure tje labs are beautiful. poof we have talked about going to that yard sale for years but never have.

Nobody is ever in ours, which makes you wonder when, exactly, they fried up that chicken.

We had one of the very first ones when I was a kid and it was delicious. Of course they were using tastier fats back then.

The one closest to us is terrible. Half the time they haven't started frying one or the other or they're out of something. No ice. Some of the drinks are empty. It's too bad. The one a little farther away is great.
