Everyone stay safe, check in when you can!

You can watch news 12 if you lose power, on your computer.
The computer that runs off a router that runs off electricity.
I see a flaw in this plan!
Don't you have your router and modem on a battery backup like a normal person?
Still single, can't imagine why.

We're being sent home at noon; ordered NOT to come in tomorrow.
Grumpy 'til the day I die.

See, don't think of it as a hurricane, think of it as a vacation! A vacation with free shrapnel and repair projects!

Studies show dead employees are 90% less efficient, otherwise they would tell you to come in.

dontwantaname wrote:Where would you find this smallish generator? It is a popular item before a storm.
at this point in time I would suggest Kansas and parts west.
Northern tool, harbor freight, home depot or Lowes usually have a good selection.

I'm not a prepper but after experiencing rolling blackouts in the dead of winter as well as a 24 hour outage during the height of summer I thought it prudent.
Most of our outages are localized due to weather or equipment failure so refueling should only require a short 20 minute drive.
