Good morning everybody! It has cooled down nicely. It is only 72. I think it was supposed to be 58 at our NC home. Daughter will cut the heat on!

Went out to dinner early. Went to a small local airport with a restaurant and outdoor patio. Got to watch the planes and helicopters come and go while we ate. One of the few nice evenings that you could eat outside. Didn't get it, but they have on their menu braunschweiger on dark rye with sliced egg, red onion and spicy mustard. I seriously doubt if anyone else has that on the menu.

went to a movie this afternoon followed by a long nap...relaxing

The same one Daj saw a little bit ago. The Campaign. We found it funny.

Severe T-storms to our north and west heading this way. Maybe a little hail in them.

The storms have passed. We had a lot of lightning and 65mph winds but no damage. I'm hearing a lot of sirens so I'm guessing not everyone is as fortunate.

I think the sirens was the FD responding to a lighning strike.

success with using needle nose pliers to bend the old bulb base in toward the center (sometimes in multiple places) until there's not enough friction to hold the thing in.
