Mornin', I'back; folks.

Hi all.
Quick update on the train heading to Tacoma to see youngest sister. I will stay tonight and then go tomorrow and see more friends. Dad will stay with sister.

The trip started rough - leak in pump, dad fell out of shower (said he fell asleep) thankfully no broken bones, no bleeding or bruising. Missed first plane - had fog I didn't schedule for got in five minutes too late to check in. Soooo instead of leaving at 5:30 and arriving at 12:04 we left at 11 and arrived at 7 pm. Then when getting off the plane I turned my phone on and received 14 texts about credit card use. Somehow someone stole my credit card. So cancelled it. Will have lots of stuff to do when I get home. Grrrr!!

Have had a wonderful trip after the rough start. Great visit with friends in Ferndale. Crashed a Canadian Thanksgiving. They had beef, potatoes, carrots, plum pudding, blueberry crumble, apple crumble, and apple pie. Really good food and fellowship!

Looking forward to seeing more friends. Will be seeing one friend a day for the next three days so busy but good. May get to do another update on the train next run.

Sorry to hear about Maisy. Poof will be back today so things should pick up some for all you PWA lonesome people. More when I get a chance.

I LOVE train travel! I wish they still had train service going through by us. They stopped when Katrina took the bridge East of Mobile and never restarted it. I would take a train everywhere if I could.

Doesn't strike as me as all that similar; desserts sound yummy, though!

I love the train too! Unfortunately there is only one depot left in use in the state.

Sorry, my body decided this morning that it hates me again and after pushing myself through my job at the school I just want to lay down and cry.

Then I had to go get the rest of my kids.

and in about 20 mins I have to take them and a friend's kids to karate.

Then I have some work to try to get through, if I don't give up and take a nap.

Just here for a minute. Have a horrible cold. Thought it was allergies (went through FOUR boxes of kleenex in three days at my sister's) but then it turned into severe coughing and just generally feeling like crap. Tried to sleep when we got home but the damn political phone calls kept coming. Really wish we weren't a swing state. Hope the Mucinex starts doing what it's supposed to do soon. Chicken noodle soup and milk for supper. That's my "sick" meal. Later.

I hope you feel better! No fun to come home from a trip and be sick.

I'd unplug the phone, or better get really really doped up and have a nice stoned chat with them. You shouldn't remember it in the morning.
