I like how Wikipedia's "depiction of a Wolpertinger" is Dürer's painting of a hare defaced in MS Paint.

I've got to go with Brazil with their Dune homage. Any country geeky enough to model their imaginary beast on that SF series gets my vote, for sure.

No Jersey Devil either, no Garou, and the blatant ommission of the one most near and dear to my heart - the Mothman. The US seems to be poorly represented in this category. I guess the only way to vote is for Nessie. Remember - "If it's not Scottish, it's crap!"

No plug for Wendel and Kiki?

(I thought those videos were going to be annoying, but I embarrassedly find myself looking forward to them. Maybe it's something about a regularly-written novelty song...)

I'm shocked by the omission of my childhood favorite, the jackelope.

I figured that the jackalope is just an offshoot of the Wolpertinger bloodline.

How can I vote for the Trunko Whale when the only image I've seen appears to be it getting its ass kicked by smaller whales?

Also offended by lack of jackalope. Vote for Canada (the Sasquatch) -- after all, it's the 51st state!

Check out the wikipedia page, it was actually just a blubber sack that washed up on the beack. The Orcas in the picture were just playing with it in the surf before it washed up. Really hard to vote for it now, eh?
