Bought 2 sets. One set for me (6'3" 210lbs)to zip together and the other set for my wife and 3yr old to split.

If it's just me and my wife camping... maybe we can hook all 4 together for one big Love Sack???

83" = 6'9". This bag is for taller people

A note on how the degree rating works on sleeping bags:

The Degree marked can represent two different temperatures, depending on how the company decides to label their bags. Good thing is: each manufacturer typically follows the same rating for all sleeping bags. Anyway, to the point:

The first way, the temperature states the lowest rated temperature that the bag will work to prevent you from getting hypothermia while you sleep. So, just because you have a 30 degree bag and it's 32 degrees outside, you're still going to get VERY cold, just no hypothermia.

The second way, the temperature states the "comfort" level of the bag. So you will be comfortable at night down to 50 degrees. Colder than 50 and you may not stay warm enough for your comfort level. The problem with this is: everyone’s definition of "comfort" when it comes to sleeping is different.

Well, now I'm a bit confused. Looking on High Peaks website it shows these bags as 'Temp Rating (F): 21-52 F' So now what does THAT mean? Still a good enough price so I can stuff one under the seat of my truck in case I get stuck somewhere so I'm in for one.

Is there anyone know if there's any cushion with this sleeping bag? Is it comfortable? Thanks.

My assumption would be that it's comfort rated to 50 degrees, but you can use it in temperatures as cold as 21 degree w/o freezing to death. I wouldn't recommend using this if it gets colder than 45-50 degrees at night.

As another poster described earlier, there are other factors to involve.

My 20 degree Kelty keeps me almost too warm even at temps down to 25. I have to have the zipper down most of the way so I don't cook.

I am sure that if I cowboy camped (tarp only - no tent), a 20 degree bag might not keep me warm in even 25 degree temps.

However, I use a solitaire tent and use a self inflating air mat.

Because of that, a 50 degree bag might be fine for me at temps below 40. Possibly even down to freezing depending on what I am wearing in that bag.

In for two packs. This is the item that I can finally give almost total blame to my husband. He saw the email confirmation on the purchase and then texted me to tell me he was just about to call and ask me to buy them! Slowly but surely I'm making him a woot addict...or maybe he is just a really good enabler.

Anyway - these are perfect for indoor camping and the occasional outdoor camping I may do at a couple of mountain cabins that I frequent for vacations that have limited and/or sketchy sleeping arrangements. And by mountain cabin I mean hunting cabin and by sketchy sleeping arrangements I mean scary bunk beds that my husband's hunting buddies normally use.

forever fighting the urge to buy something just because it is cheap and cool...wait, it's cheap and cool, let me click that big yellow button!

Definitely got on that as soon as I saw the deal. Consider buying these for your local social service agencies! I'm personally buying for survivethestreets.org.

Sorry, but that's completely wrong. The temperature rating (whether using the old, less reliable system or the newer and more universal EN temperature ratings) is intended to advise of the temperature at which an average sleeper would remain comfortable. If you grab your bag make sure that you don't squeeze too hard. It may be the end of your 'kid producing' days.

In a product review, a consumer bought this High Peak Simex Sport Sirius Sleeping Bag at Walmart where the product description was for a 20-degree sleeping bag. After receiving his order for 4 sleeping bags, he learned it was not for cold temps but was for warmer temps since it was for temps at 20 degrees Celcius which is approx. 50 degrees Fahrenheit so he had to return them. It sure helps to have clear accurate product descriptions.

I'm just afraid of sleeping bags, period. Ever since that one day as kid I woke up in complete darkness. Somehow during the night I had turned around in my bag, with my head at the foot of the bag and my feet sticking out. Don't ask me how.

I contact multiple manufacturers before I settled on Mountain Hardware for my backpacking bag. I also spoke with "experts" at REI, Sierra Trading Post, Sportsmans Warehouse and a local family owned shop, all of which informed me of what I stated above.

Personally, I'll take the advice given in person vs. the Internet every time.

A sleeping bag built for teenage supermodels. It's a good thing this comes in a 2-pack, because one is too narrow for a regular person. I'm 6', 215 pounds, slightly larger than average in the upper body, and I could barely zip it past my shoulders. Would you like to recapture the feeling of being bundled as an infant? Here's your bag. Even with my hands at my sides, it's tight across my chest. And how is it supposed to work with two bags and one person? Will I be sleeping on top of the zipper? And one more thing: Even at 6' I almost max out the length on this thing. So I guess when they say it's a mummy bag, they mean you'll feel mummified. Very disappointed.

I purchased these last week for a trip I was taking with my church. The bags are very small. I'm six feet tall and weigh 200 pounds. I have fairly broad shoulders as well. I wasn't able to zip the bag up over my shoulders at all. The bag got tight on my just above my waist. My kids will be able to use them, but if you're my size, I would recommend not buy these. Woot was awesome though. When I had a shipping issue, Woot took great care of me. Thanks Woot.

Just got mine in the mail today... Jooooyyyyyy! :D I didn't even really look at the specs, just knew it was two sleeping bags (which I needed), so went ahead and bought... STOKED that they can zip together! You know how expensive double bags are? Sheesh. Thanks again, Woot!

My only complaint... Now that I've removed one from the little bag they pack into, I'm definitely worried that it will never fit in there again, LOL.

Mine are also two of the same (the tags on the bags both read "Right"). I'll be contacting service@woot.com, per TT's instructions, I just wanted to post here so you knew you weren't alone. ;)

I received 2 left zipper bags...maybe we should swap.

Unfortunately, I didn't open the bags until my camping trip this past weekend, so I lost out.

Also, to whomever worried about getting the bags back into the carrying bag, I had absolutely no problem.

Edit - regarding temperature comfort, I know we are all different, but it dropped into the mid 40s (F) and I was comfortable wearing only BBall shorts in the bag.
