That sounds so harsh. Try singing this, in a lovely soprano:
'Poor wandering one!
Though thou hast surely strayed,
Take heart of grace,
Thy steps retrace..'

Not really. Ctrl-F and type in the keyword. Find the map pieces within those links. Voila!
Does woot still do the letters?

Thus my quagmire.

Dude, you're just looking like a jerk. Someone's probably said it on every stupid page of this thing. Just ctrl+F (that's "find") the word treasure in blog posts. You don't even have to expand any to do that. Every blog post that has the word "TREASURE" has a picture of the puzzle. Stop complaining and do a few pages of reading. Woot doesn't make it complicated and they do everything they can to make it fair.
EGHAD! I knew there was a good reason I still live here in Crapsylvania.
Just a random note... doesn't the guy on the P90X picture below look like Dr. Who? (when it is that small)
ROGETRAY wrote:NO SHARING or COLLUSION!
You can post guesses and discussions about the map, no pics or YouTube vids
Or to put it another way:
'Oh, better far to live and die
Under the brave black flag I fly,
Than play a sanctimonious part,
With a pirate head and a pirate heart.
Away to the cheating world go you,
Where pirates all are well-to-do;
But I’ll be true to the song I sing,
And live and die a Pirate King.'

This 'oldtimer' talk made me wonder when I joined Woot. I have my 5th Woot b-day in just over a week.
sara567 wrote:mine went to bed an hr ago. i told him i am dealing with a friend who is having an issue. he hasn't mentioned anything about why there is a giant pirate map puzzle on the dining room table when he came down to see why i wasn't with him, though.
Okay, this totally cracked me up -- to the point of tears. Oh, the secret lives we lead -- so tragically ridiculous.
I am now wondering if the office manager post is trying to tell us that the letter caps thing is a red herring, not the post itself...

Now that you mention it...

Quality post, this.

AND, we get to do it again tomorrow!

Except they wont ship wine to Crapsylvania

I have been thinking this as well. there have been 2 woot monkeys...
I woke up at 5:00am(est)started looking for -TREASURE- When I found the first item with it I knew everything I needed. There was no need to be on the computer all day, just quick check-ups through the day.
I could tell you which the first item was, but with my weak luck, I don't want to add rivals to the competition. Judge me all you like.
I think the treasure chest logo/icon near the bottom of the main woot page, below the ad for "pirate-palooza" tee shirts and to the right of the survey...
I think that was a drawing of a closed chest earlier today.
But that was like 7:00 am and now it's later.
I may be hallucinating.

Is it wrong my husband wanted some quality time and I had to make sure the was not a new piece before hand. He just stared at me like Really?!
All you really need to do is search for the word TREASURE in the items that have sold today. An easier way might be to look at how many comments they have as there have been more on them than the others. Find the pictures of the map pieces and put them together. Then you will be in the same boat as the rest of us.
Dear Sara, I want to be your pirate map friend...
Ha, for everyone complaining they can't print this out: http://www.woot.com/offers/kodak-hero-5-1-aio-wi-fi-printer-3

Exactly! Another reason why I'm surprised I still live here. Damned familial ties.
No... I'll drag myself to the designated state liquor pantry and peruse the selection under the flickering fluorescents. yay.
Are we allowed to say how many pieces of the map have shown up yet? I just want to make sure I have the right number.
Wow, now I'm starting to feel old.
I've been wooting for many a year and still never scored a bandolier of carrots. So ... any help the woot gods give this slow bird for a chance at one is GREATLY appreciated.

Well, its time to call it a night for this East Coaster. Good luck to everyone who like me, have been printing, cutting, and pasting all day. Hopefully, the server will not crash and the Buccaneers of Caribbean will be yours. I will get one someday, I know I will.
