If you start from beginning to end on this thread, it's totally bi-polar.

One of the requirements is that you're not sane. It's easier that way than trying to maintain sanity.

On "http://pixlr.com/editor/", Go to "File" >"new image" (or ctrl+n) a small pop up window comes up with options for the new image.
Field for "Name","presets" sizes, "height and width". Also 2 check boxes, one to "Create image from clipboard" and (the one you need) "make image transparent". Click it to check this box after you set a Height and Width that your pieces can fit (gave mine 1600x1600) and press OK.
You will have a transparent backgrownd where you can paste your pieces and move them around independently from each other. Every time you paste a piece it create a new layer you can select and position your piece as you like.

Dealing with bi-polar people, trying to solve their problems and trying to keep them happy. Sounds like my current job, with less swearing.

Maybe it's because I'm a gen-xer, but I'm always leary of any of my peers who haven't taken antidepressants or been in therapy for at least a little while...

I would be pleasantly surprised if I'm in the 200, but I don't expect it.

I really want to know what is in these bags. Hope people let us know.

Because I'm exceptionally busy right now and I know there won't be a Buccaneers of Caribbean posted, , for those reasons (along with the mostly boring merchandise being pitched) I hardly ever look at the woot products. I miss the days when the stuff was weird enough that you were compelled to look (and occasionally buy). I started the puzzle but it seemed to much like what I was already doing- work!

Lotsa stuff...

Things I have learned from this treasure hunt:

Never let a prize site go live until the last piece of the puzzle is available.

A good comprise is utterly impossible and will leave someone ticked off.

I still stick out my tongue while trying to cut paper.

Special monkeys sell way too fast these days.

I desperately need some big boy scissors, safety scissors suck.

I can not get any photo editing program to do anything. They all hate me.

It puts the crap inside the bag or it gets the hose again.

So I went to bed at 11 pm EDT last night and apparently there was a bit of an explosion?

I've sorta just skimmed the past few pages, but I'm guessing that people were able to figure out the url (not that hard to guess the letters missing on the last piece even before it went out?) and were able to buy early? (And maybe some people cheated?)

I saw TT's posts about the resolution, but I was curious about what happened xD

And anyways, are we up to *9 pieces? I just got caught up.

I got 2 questions for anyone that knows.

1.Are we allowed to guess at the answer before all clues are revealed? Or is that considered cheating.

2.Are they going to wait and make the prize only available after the last clue posts?
