My wife and I will enjoy an occasional game of strip monopoly.... that would be my favorite, if it counts.

If by going by the real rules, probably Risk is my #1... problem is, you need a specific audience and more than one of them... and plenty of time to play it. Stratego is another fun game that is easier to play, only needs two people, and is over pretty quick.

When I was a kid, I loved a game called "Survive: Escape from Atlantis". Also had a cool game called "Haunted House". My favorite game as a kid though would have been either "Fireball Island" or "Torpedo Run".

On line backgammon :if I'm losing, I can quit right in the middle of the game. Then I laugh because I know that the guy on the other end is cursing me in, spanish, french, turkish, hebrew,or english, etc.

Yeah, that'll happen with Risk.

I'm relieved to know that others take otherwise innocuous games and make a 'strip' version, too. My wife and I have played the occasional game of Strip Banana Grams....she usually wins...What is it with words and women?

Its pretty tough to play a bored game... or any game for that matter, without it turning into a 'strip' game. There are always wagers that can be made, especially when drinking is involved... "take off your shirt and I won't make you pay rent".

haroper wrote:"Life" because house rules (like "free parking in Monopoly") let everyone sell the kids off at the end.

this is why I'm still looking for a vintage copy of the game for my family. Back in the day, selling your kids wasn't a house rule, it was just another part of the normal game. and you didn't have the funky career cards or differently priced houses or "life tiles", etc -- give me back my promissory notes and share the wealth cards!

It's called Bang! And technically it's a card game, but it's really fun. They have an iPhone and PC version of it.
