Does anybody know if these will work with the iGo charger or will it blow up my house?

Seems like it should work. They're NiMH, which the charger is designed to work with.

iGo charger says it will charge cells like these. The unanswered question is if it will do a good job.

I don't think these are going to be the Japanese-made Eneloop equivalents, but it's still a decent price, even with shipping.

I'll use these in remotes and those cheap LED flashlights.

Yes, it will work with any charger than can handle ordinary NiMH batteries. If the iGo has a switch to choose alkaline or NiMH, make sure to choose NiMH.

Duracell stopped selling the Japanese white-top LSD batteries a long time ago. Those weere identical to first generation Eneloops. These black top batteries are made in China and are identical to Rayovac LSD batteries.

Still much better than those iGo rechargeable alkaline batteries for most purposes, capacity and longevity wise

In for a package. My only concern is that the batteries look so much like regular batteries that my kids might accidentally throw them out.

I got mine yesterday. The first group of four tested as 680-720 mAh in my La Crosse charger. I am running a refresh on the next four to see if that goes up.

At least none are bad so far.

I have now run the remaining eight through the "refresh" cycle and they show 770mAh to 790mAh. A couple of them to several cycles to get there.

So far none have failed and they have tested "decent for the price". Now we wait to see how long they hold a charge.
