There is a banner about the Hunt for Crapbeard's Treasure, where he tells you to find the pieces of his map hidden in sales items identified with the word "TREASURE"

Assemble the pieces of the map, if you HAVE them all, and then good luck - Bucket of Chicken!!

Look on the homepage, just below the current sold-out deal. There's a banner there that says something about Crapbeard's Treasure, that's been there since the woot-off started. If you click on that, it tells you that there was a puzzle game going on, and that the secret was to look for the word TREASURE in all caps. When that word showed up in the "Woot-off bot says" area of the page, then if you looked around, you'd see a picture of part of a map (Once you found the first one, it was really easy... It was always just the last "detail image" of the product). You can still see the last map piece for the gun lighter...

Map pieces were hidden in the thumbnail photos of some items. Yes I have a life and a job, so I didn't sit here all day, just searched through the community listings for what I missed while I was away, print screened and assembled them to get the URL address from the capitalized letters.

Thank you sooo much! I will look for the banner. Like many people I ignore banners and those little busy work ads so common on just about every site.

Some of the items had a description that said "TREASURE" in capital letters.

Click on the main pic and scroll on the side pics. There was a map fragment there.

Collect all pieces.
Put them in order.
Use the RED letters (the first one)

create URL

Go there.

Click large button.

Get stuck in the infernal waiting room and hope for the best.

It has been a long 2 days.

Basically, every Woot item (from the main www.woot.com) that had "TREASURE" in the description contained a clue. If you looked at the pics for that item, one was a map fragment. Putting them all together gave the full map already posted in this thread, and using the red letters gave the url for the Buccaneers of Caribbean

Seriously though, I'm sure plenty of people really did check every item all through the day. Personally, I went back and checked all the items at about 8:00. I figured it would be close to midnight before the final piece went up, and since that was the case, I had plenty of time. It took awhile to go through them all for the day, but what else am I going to do? Have some kind of social life?

Unbelievable stats from the Buccaneers of Caribbean page - 4% this was their 1st woot, and 5% their 2nd? That is quite hard to fathom.....
