The little box that could do anything - or so it was advertised at launch. It was supposed to be a platform opened for development by anyone, but when they added Netflix and Hulu support the thing became as locked down as any other device in the market. Support is terrible and there hasn't been a software update in a long, long, long time.

The product is now being end of life'd; supposedly there will be one more update to update the version of the flash player and fix some more bugs, but we've been waiting forever for said update. I don't expect it to come.

It is still great if you want a box that plays local media, but if your main interest is streaming, look elsewhere.

Very disappointed in the BoxeeBox team; wish I had bought a Roku or somesuch instead.
