Hmmm, this or brand new 50" Samsung for $900 with "smart tv" stuff?

The smart TV stuff is so worth it. Our 52" Vizio has the apps like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube, and its awesome not needing another device to get that stuff on there (we do not have cable so it makes it usable without another device).

The Samsung may be a better TV, but don't let the "smart tv" stuff be the deciding factor. A $50 Roku box (or $100 Apple/Google version) will provide the same functionality, and if circumstances change in 3 years, it's much easier to replace a $50 box than an entire TV (assuming a firmware upgrade doesn't do it).

I think I will let the fact that 'thatElectricFeel' is hot, be the deciding factor.

I have been rocking this TV for a year now with no problems. Highly recommend it! (although I bought it new for $50 less on Amazon last Thanksgiving).

In-store pick up only but yes... that's a very good deal. $100 less.

Factor in sales tax (MA is the closest location) and its probably about $80 less.

I just paid $150 more for the same TV with 3D a few days ago on here. Ugh! I feel cheated.

I think everyone buying a ~50inch TV before Black Friday is going to have serious buyers remorse in a few days...

Oh my gosh I had totally forgotten about those. Have they been on here yet? My poor fathers basement leaks almost everytime it rains. I'd really like to save him countless hours with the shopvac.
