Was he dating one of the Capa Sisters? I heard he couldn't Resist-her.
Has anyone tried these before? They ARE really needed for all the Christmas shopping that I've done....
Chuck Yeager approved!
The best everyday price I usually find for batteries is in the 20c range for Maxell AAs or AAAs on Amazon. This, while not the world's best price ever (they can be found on special for 9-12c on rare occasion), is probably the best you'll find without looking hard. Assuming you've already paid for shipping today, at least.
miken927 says: Chuck Yeager approved! The batteries offered here wouldn't work in a car or truck. They'd have to be rechargeables. ;)
wow all kinds of sizes, this will take awhile
I know Lowes will have a 30 pk of AA Alkaline batteries for $4 for Black Friday coming up and I think Home Depot will have a pack of 24 AA and 24 AAA Rayovac alkaline batteries for less than $8 on Black Friday as well , so I'm passing on these
Not sure if it's a great price, but I took care of the $5 ship for the day and at least will have on hand the larger size batteries (C, D 9 Volt). AmazonBasics only comes in AA and AAA and Costco wants to give you a crap ton and I only need a few at hand to last the whole year for smoke alarms, flashlights and roomba virtual walls.
whoever buy this is stupid, get rechargable geez
for the zombie apocalypse!
Rechargeable batteries aren't good for seldom-used devices you want to have ready to use... flashlights are a good example. I usually buy the BJ's brand batteries, as they're about the cheapest I've found.
Not all types of rechargebles put out 1.5 amps that is sometimes needed. NIMH usually are good for 1.2. I have a headphone amp that absolutely needs 1.5 amps to sound good. So I would guess that people who buy disposables are not all stupid eh ?
Hmmmm, how many do I need for the Prius?

You mean volts. These alkalines are 1.5 volts, NiMH are 1.2 volts.
