If you didn't want the shirt why did you order one... the hunt was fun but there is a cost to the shirts and shipping. It was about having fun with the cards and results and if you like the shirt then cool.

I don't like the shirt which is why I emailed woot immediately after ordering asking for a refund. I put through my order too fast to even think because I didn't want to miss out (again) on a Bag. But, to me, to make us do all that work for 3 days for just a plain shirt not even at a great price (and free shipping) is just mean. I really think it is, sorry.

I am sure you are not alone and I did go to the page but knew from the ability to order 3 etc... that there was nothing hidden. I am sure the staff is aware this will happen and I have had some really good experiences with them so just wait to see what they say.

Always has free shipping for regular time and $5 for expedite... also there is costs to the shirts so I would imagine $5 is too close to the cost line.

I'm sad that one there will be a whole generation of woot shoppers that do not know the answer to this question. They are so very limited now that I don't even check woot regularly anymore hoping that on an off chance on a bored night I may stumble across a woot-off.

The shirts always have free shipping... and they are normally $12 first day, $15 while in top 20 etc... and $18 when bought from the catalog. So... you are saving (2.01, 5.01, or 8.01)...

I rarely post here, and this may in fact, be only my second or third post on woot in the 5-6 years I've bought from woot.

However, your complaints have irked me enough post once again.

I've been able to score a Big Ol' Cataclysm once, in the past several years. I've bought very few items on woot. Yet, I still remain a loyal customer. And most of the items I buy are monkeys and shirts. Why? Not because they are great deal (most of the time they aren't) or because I'm expecting a suprise to come along with them, but because when I walk around with my woot shirt, or screaming monkey keychain... Others ask me about it, resulting in conversation. Even if I never get another Big Ol' Cataclysm I will continue to check Woot.com on a regular basis.

Next time, read the rules. They said there would not be a Big Ol' Cataclysm and that means you shouldn't go out of your way just to expect one. The hunt was meant for fun, for those who enjoy Woot.com and the iconic items it has to offer. If you feel that the card hunt was a waste of your time, do like most others did, and read this thread to get the letters... instead of wasting Woot.coms time with having to cancel your order.
