Very good blu ray player I worked at best buy when they came out and with every firmware update the 3D feature worked better and better and they ran for over 200.00!!!! Besides its a samsung can't go wrong there

There is no way to turn off the screensaver, according to Samsung's help line.

If you watch something on YouTube, for example, for longer than the screensaver envelope, you get the Samsung icon floating on a black screen when the envelope expires.

Jeebus.

I don't know about $200, u can get it for $107 new on Amazon. 3 out of 5 stars.

I got one for < 100 at Brandsmart recently. Good player, but I can't speak for the other features (netflix, other apps, etc) that I don't use. Plays 3D BR movies nice, and it works extremely well with a new Samsung TV.

Dang, I just ordered one of these from Amazon at $99. Not a refurb, but $30 is a lot. Grrrr.

does it play DVDs?

I bought one of these last time they were up.

It plays video fine. But it is slow and clunky. Apps are unresponsive. Slow...Once you get a movie playing on Netflix, plays fine. But it's excruciating to get to that point.

Wireless frequently gets lost and you have to run through the network setup process to get it back.

Got this the last time that Woot had it up. So far it works great. The only problem I had was in getting Hugo 3D to boot up. After 3 or 4 tries it worked and when it did it was fantastic. Other than that, no problems. Enjoying this Blu ray 3D player very much.

I bought one of these a little over 2 months ago. It doesn't have the quickest or most intuitive GUI, but everything works well enough for me. I mostly use it for playing movies from and attached USB drive, but Netflix and HULU work fine, as does the Wifi connection.
