Why the heck don't people post cat pictures anymore? This is unacceptable.

I have a question. How long does WOOT leave items on a woot-off if they are not selling.. Is there a time limit.. I mean seriously. $1400 is not really an "Impulse" purchase amount... at least not for WOOT's target audience...

I got this MBP last time it was on Woot (11/1) and absolutely love it.

I had an old 17" MBP that was dying a painful death and I just didn't want to move to a 15". When I saw the specs and the price, I was in. The machine works perfectly, including upgrading to Mountain Lion.

I've had no software or hardware problems, other than an issue related to me using on my lap without a hard surface underneath. When the vents are blocked, the machine will overheat (although not even getting close to the heat levels of the older machines) and can cause the case, for lack of a better word, to "melt" and shift it out of alignment. A quick trip to the Apple Store fixed it and lesson learned.

I'd buy a 2nd one but my cat has trouble with the trackpad. Her loss.

I can't imagine a day when I would pay $1320 for a REFURBISHED laptop with a 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, and a 330M. i5 is nice, but for this price should be an i7.

Also, 4GB of RAM is perfect for what I need the MBP for, which includes playing the Sims 3 (and doing work now and again). But upgrading to 8GB is insanely cheap from Crucial.com ($45.99) and the MBP comes with instructions on how to swap out memory easily.

I think we have two equally plausible reason for this... 1) The worker at Woot are annoyed they have to work between Xmas and New Years so they are putting up non-wootable items in a bid to have a very long morning brunch. 2) Amazon realized they paid too much for Woot and are now hoping to bag a few whales to turn it all around.
