The giant dead zone in the middle doesn't help.

If there was a lot of software written specifically for this item, it might be different... but there isn't.

Apps for full size tablets have a big hole in the middle.

It seems to try and fill a gap that isn't there. Tablets fill the "more portable than a laptop but easier to see than a phone" gap. This is just bigger and heavier than a phone, but not quite as useful as a tablet.

You can't possibly tell me anybody carries one of these in their pocket. Which means it must go in a bag of some sort. And at that point, why not get a 7" tablet.

I have a Sony Tablet S. If this is anything like that, it will be quite useful. I use the S tablet with a bluetooth keyboard to do my "at School" work for my PhD program. I am ordering one of these for the heck of it...I might actually be able to use the onscreen keyboard to edit papers. Or, it becomes a better Android tablet than my kids' Nooks. Anyway typing on a tablet is not for this old guy, but it might work on a ds-like device. Yes, I do have a DS XL, but my children never let me have a turn
