Just some water with lemon please. Not a big coffee fan, thoguh my wife had some raspberry chocolate fresh ground stuff from Seven Hills coffee that wasn't bad when she out some peppermint mocha creamer in it. Not sure I could drink a full cup though.

Let's see the quality impulse buys!

I've made the switch off coffee based drinks to primarily green tea plus a few other teas.

It's made a world of a difference for me (probably not the thing for everyone), since I went from taking in around 400mg of caffeine by 2pm to no more than 200mg the entire day. You get multiple infusions from 3g of loose leaf green tea and I get a $4 bag of loose leaf from the local Asian market which lasts a month if I use 6g/day. Which comes out to less than $0.15/day. My stomach is also thanking me for the reduction in acidic dredge I'd been putting in it.

When I get a craving for coffee, I go to my AeroPress because it gets the coffee flavor with less acidity. And I don't have to bother with a drip machine or french press (and the floaties).

Is this it? what am i supposed to do here?

Single origin pour-over. Usually a Honduras or Costa Rica, preferably something natural or honey processed. I am swiftly becoming a fan of Aeropress using the inverted method, as well.

I finally got a Keurig, single cup coffee maker. I was resistant, but I have to say it is worth every penny.

I have spent countless hours and products trying to get my coffee at home to taste like it does from the coffee shop. I ground my own coffee, tried numerous coffee makers and French presses. All were disappointing.

What I like about the Keurig is the taste is amazing and the varieties and flavors are easy to sample and store. The coffee tastes like it should taste and I can have a wide variety of coffees at my disposal for not that much of an investment.

Newman's Own Medium Roast, Extra Bold and Emmeril's Big Easy Bold are 2 of my favorites. Along with the Starbuck's French Roast and Coffee People Jet Fuel.

I now realize why the K cup has such a broad base.

I was squarely in the don't-drink-coffee camp until I first went to Italy and was given a proper coffee. Since then it's been a slippery slope, now I'll drink espresso, turkish, lattes, drip, press, whatever. So long as it's good.

It's worth learning how to tell the difference.

None. Love the smell, but not a huge fan. Plus it's not good for you, so I take a pass on coffee.

YOU don't know coffee. One of the worst brands. I have had worse, but it gets ranked near the bottom in every poll. Good roasted coffee can only be purchased at a local farmers market or coffee house. Once you buy fresh roasted coffee, AND DONE RIGHT, you will never buy coffee at a supermarket again. Price is a bit higher, but I have a local coffee house that brews weekly and it sells for $10 -$30 per pound. Based on bean and market.

PS: Dunkin Donuts is CRAP folks. It is those bean lovers in the Northeast that think it is the best thing since sliced bread. Another name brand that is barely better than FOLGERS. A great supermarket brand are Tully's and Peet's. Starbucks to me is the baseline. If on sale for $7 a 12 ounce bag, BUY IT. But Folgers, Dunkin Donuts, Chock full of nuts, are CRAP! Maybe on sale for $3 a bag and you need lots of cream to cover its burned taste. YUCK!

Very east to make using Pumpkin Spice. Just warm the milk and slowly dissovle the pumpkin spice in the milk. Many ways to do this online. Just be PATIENT! A little work, but so nice on a cool summer Saturday morning. WELL WORTH THE EFFORT.
