I've heard a lot of noise about pinhole cameras not taking very good "indoor/lowlight" clips. Can anyone vouch for/against this from previous purchases?

I'm curious if this can be mounted on yesterday's Crossman in such a way as to allow one to record one's shooting. Anyone know? And if so, can it be zoomed in to match the view through the scope?

I see this has a viewing screen. So I suspect one could jury rig it on to the scope, and aim using the screen, right? Any chance someone at woot! Could mate the two and report back?

But does it light up? Because then it would be epic, indeed.

32gb mSD is no issue. I wish the video embedded didn't have the youtube autoshake correcter on, I can't find any other demo videos that use the high def mode.

Ok, I have found only 2 vidoes which are both from user comments above. Toysrus has this but does not come as a bundle. There are two versions of this camera, this one (HD) 720 @ 30fps, and the other one (SD)and majority of videos and reviews are of the SD version.

Can you use youtube? Your vimeo doesn't go fullscreen correctly.

Can you check the settings, set for highest quality, and pan something outside for 10-30 secs in 720p?

A raw file would be perfect.

Very interested in one of these, can someone comment on how tough the camera is? The GoPros are waterproof and some people strap them on to paintball helmets/guns ... would this hold up to that sort of impact?

I bought one in Dec for $10 more and wouldn't buy another for half the price.

At the end of the day It's kids toy. Cheaply built, clumsy buttons, cheap memory slot cover, strange charging arrangement.....

Not bad for a $49 camera. Its not a GoPro, but you can get six of them for the cost of a GoPro. If you're not trying to create an expedition documentary for National Geographic, this may just do the trick!

Bought one the last time around... Can't get it to go longer than 14 minutes. Upgraded the memory card from 2 to 32 gb had no effect.

Did anyone else instantly think of the arc reactor when they saw this?

Ok take it from me I got this thing 2 months ago it is a super cheep go pro for kids the mount broke first jump I did on my dirt bike if u guys relay won't a action cam that's good I feal better then go pro get the JVC adixxion it's has a faster frame rate the go pro liter then go pro and no housing to fog up take it from me stay away from this cam it's junk

I bought one for both of my kids for Christmas and I know the one has gone through some moderate abuse like running and being dropped on the ice (my fault, not the kids)! They are pretty neat for the kids and I think pretty cool myself. I paid 60 a piece for the ones we got and it wasn't a bad price in my opinion. If you have kids I'm sure they will enjoy this, some parents just might too. Now, to figure out a good way to strap this thing to one of the cats...

This camera isn't suitable for recording a target downrange. Like GoPros and other small POV cameras, the field of view is much too wide to see anything in detail outside 10 feet or so. They also don't work well when aimed down a scope. All you get is black.

Your best bet is to get an adopter for a scope or spotting scope so you can hook up a point-n-shoot, DSLR or your phone. I've gotten great results with an iPhone attached to a spotter. There are many adapter brands out there ranging from $60 to $300.

Can you use this while its plugged in to the usb while charging?
If you replace the SD card with a larger one, will it record for a longer period of time? I read elsewhere that it only records for about 14 min. no matter what size SD card.
