Cloud Atlas should've gotten 2 or 3 nominations.

Doesn't matter which ones get nominated. They'll pick some crappy film no one has ever seen (or wants to see) for "best" picture.

I haven't seen most of those movies. I saw two movies that actually were released last year, and only one was in the theater. I'm so Generation 3 Ponies.

I'm curious why people think a Batman movie should not receive a nomination. I would hope it's not just because it's a superhero movie.

The Dark Knight Rises was a great movie, I just don't think it topped the Dark Knight. It was such a good movie that I don't think they could have topped it.

It did. For Makeup and Score, I believe.

SAMSARA should've been nominated for Best Doc. It's absurd that it has received no recognition. Everybody go watch it.
