There are several I miss, but most recently would be Terra Nova, Human Target and Memphis Beat.

So I don't ever watch tv, if something is going to get me hooked, it has to be darn good. Here are the shows whose loss I lament:

1: Deadwood
I'm guessing those that didn't name it haven't seen it. ;) Unfortunately it was supposedly too costly to make, and Milch had focused his attention on John from Cincinatti. It too was an awesome show, but too cerebral for the common demographic. It was destined to fail from the outset.

2. Merlin

3. My So-Called-Life

4. Party of Five

Firefly will always be the one that hurts the most. A lot of the shows mentioned are making me nostalgic.

I agree with those that said The Finder was a fantastic show. They cancelled it but even if they hadn't, it wouldn't have been the same without Michael Clarke Duncan, may he rest in peace.

I went with Firefly, but only because I heard a rumor that Netflix had bought the rights to Jericho and there's a chance it may come back!! Though there are way to many that I felt the same about, like others have mentioned already, Journey Man, Terra Nova (also picked up), better off Ted, I would love for anything Stargate to continue, Human Target (thanks for the sad reminder TT), Alphas, Animal Practice (funny show), flash forward... I lose all the shows I like

Don't forget Ghost Whisperer, you know why we like that show....***wink wink***

jo4short84 wrote:Why is everyone hating on Stargate Universe? I'll agree that the first season was pretty bad, but the second season was a lot better. I think it would have become awesome had it gotten one more season. Just saying.

Yes! I was waiting for someone to say this. I wonder if you have to *not* be a Stargate devotee to have really enjoyed SGU.

Also, count me in as someone who wanted to see more Terranova and Dead Like Me. I also want more BSG. And X-Files. And Northern Exposure.

Of those listed, Firefly for sure. But what I miss most is Twin Peaks.

Kidding, reality tv sucks.

Deadwood. Timothy Olyphant was nice to look at, but Ian McShane's character was *much* more interesting.

I liked Outsourced as well.

Jericho is the one in the short list that Woot chose that I liked the most.

I never understood why a cable network like G4 or SciFi didn't bring back Firefly, though... I didn't like it, but that sucker had one hell of a cult following.
