True, but I suspect the typical Eneloop consumer is drowning in chargers. Costco sold them for a time with 4 AA, 4 AAA and a charger for something like $19. I ended up giving away several chargers. It's rare you'll need more than a couple chargers at a time.

For a first-time Eneloop buyer, who has already purchased something else on Woot today (thus free shipping), it's a good deal.

These are the best rechargable batteries money can buy. On all the deal sites people try to track the rebranded Eneloops. This isn't the greatest deal ever but its a very good deal on a great product. Since I already ordered something shipping is free and made this an even better deal.

Strangely enough, I put that exact item in my shopping cart yesterday but haven't purchased it yet. As others have pointed out, the Amazon item does not come with a charger.

Hmmm...now is the eneloop charger worth $4 more? I already have a La Crosse charger.

Bought eneloop kit at Costco last week it came with 8 AA 2 AAA,a charger,two C and two D battery spacers for $24.

I like the red ones. They taste the best!

I paid $12 for the charger alone. It was worth it. These batteries are great! Much better than the standard ones near the checkout counter at most brick and mortars.

Let see we have these nice sparkly eneloop batteries - 1 is about $7.50 - So well sell them 8 for $60!! Hey lets throw in a charger - Well we all know those are a dime a dozen - How about $3? No make it $2.98 that is more realistic! O.K ... That's $62.98 list price..

My guess is plenty of people. Don't underestimate the fan following of Eneloop batteries that come in sparkly glitter colors. If I had time I'd buy 3 of these just to flip em on ebay for $50 each a month from now.

I am still waiting for mine to arrive that I bought here the other day for 5$ more
