This isn't the $160 knife. This is the special 10th anniversary edition with copper layers interleaved with the steel. It's more of a collector's piece than the standard chef's knife.

Is it worth it? Maybe not. But it's also not the same item as you can get all day long for $160.

Even If I had more money than I knew what to do with. I wouldnt spend this much on a kitchen knife!

We had a few of these in our kitchen, and they are pretty fantastic knives.

Maybe the govenment will outlaw knives that are 7 inches long or more to prevent crime making these knives desirable at any price, so stock up.
