Nope. Already have 3 from previous Woot offs.

Make sure to look up OS compatibility. I believe there are compatibility issues (read no existing drivers) for Win 7 and 8. These mics are great for speaking and amateur music, so long as your computer can read them.

As a voice actor (hobbyist), I've heard a lot of buzz about these as an entry-level starter mic. I'd get one myself if I didn't already have a more expensive one.

We used the USB stuff for recording voice over auditions and such. This would be fine for that or podcasts. It's more about the room acoustics than the mic at this level anyway.

I'd still like to get my hands on some Woot! lights...yeah a Big Office Cubicles is nice, and I've caught a few, but the lights are what I would like so very very much!

I was literally just about to press the checkout button on amazon for a CAD u37 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AIQGUO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) when I thought I would check one more time to see if Woot would have a mic up.
any opinions on which is better?

thanks. I started tonight to buy one of these but saw such great reviews on CAD and for $20 cheaper. When I saw this I didn't hesitate to buy it since it's almost same price as the CAD. Just wanted to make sure I made the right decision. I just need a good mic for making video tutorials. I had a headset mic that died earlier today.
