Couldn't disagree more - I LOVE my TiVos and wouldn't use any cable company supplied DVR.
TiVos are great, but the boxes no longer include OTA tuners. Not for cord-cutters any more. Sucks. Try to pick up a used older model that does have an ATSC tuner.
