We've got the shirt. We've got the sale. We've got the support. But you still might not believe us. So, to illustrate why common years are better than leap years, we've assembled this list of cool people born on common years and lame people born on leap years. Enjoy!

HERO: Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452, before Leap Years were even invented. He was totally dope at painting, sculpture, architecture, music, math, engineering, geology, cartography and a bunch of other stuff. Well done, Leo!

ZERO: Chris Stapleton was born on February 29th, 1984. His hobby is to go around with a sharpie and make it look like the people on the crosswalk signs are farting. Real classy, Chris!

HERO: Marie Curie was born on November 7th in the common year of 1867. She was so good at scientific research that she won the Nobel Prize in two fields, the only woman ever to do so and the only person to win in multiple sciences. Bon job, Marie!

ZERO: Rita Mendelson was born on February 29th of 1976. Whenever she goes out to eat Thai food, the waiter asks her, "How spicy?" and she says, "5 out of 5," and then later complains that it's too spicy. It's like, c'mon, Rita! Get your act together!

HERO: Roger Federer was born on the 8th of August, common year 1981. He's won, like, a billion US Opens and Wimbeldons and stuff, and even now at 31, he's still one of the best tennis players in the world. Rock on, Roger!

ZERO: Flip Trotter was born on February 29th, 1988. His real name is Phillip, but he goes by Flip, which sounds like it makes sense but then you think about it and it's like, "There isn't even a 'flip' sound in Phillip." That's pretty lame, Flip, or should we say, Phillip.

HERO: Mother Teresa was born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu on August 26 of the common year 1910. Scholars maintain that no one knows the proper pronunciation of her given name. One thing is certain, however. The woman is one friggin' miracle shy of sainthood. Amen, Anjezë! Amen.

ZERO: Linda Riddle was born on February 29th, 1964. Linda is that woman who gets confused at four-way stops. She'll start to go then slam on her brakes and wave you on even though it's totally her turn. JUST GO ALREADY, Linda! Jeez. It's not that hard.

Obviously, we think common years are better. How about you? Share your feelings in the comments.

Just to be totally clear about a totally cool common year person: It is now proper to call her "Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta".

It probably doesn't matter to anybody here but the 113-year-olds, but what about the people born in non-400 century years? They were Leap Years, but now they're not!

It's like some kind of bifurcation of {zh}eroness, and surely deserves further study of its effects.

How does that Linda person even drive?
She has only had twelve birthdays!

It's a most ingenious paradox.

We've quips and quibbles heard in flocks, but none to beat this paradox!
