Thats true about woot offering square trade warranty but I called square trade and i was tolded by there agent they don't cover anything out of usa because getting parts could be a problem. So has anybody tried getting square trade coverage on this tv or any other tv warranty company to cover this tv....?

Not sure what you are talking about I just bought the squaretrade coverage without any issue.

Well have news for you every other television is imported and not made here in the USA.

Arrived yesterday afternoon - it is AMAZING! Easy to set up, streaming home network, no dead pixels.

Cripes, most people are so ugly in HD. No wonder all the makeup and lighting people went bananas when they first switched over. Never watching local news again. Gross.

So who wants a free Sharp 30" CRT? Anyone? Anyone?

Same here except I was even the first "sucker" to purchase the particular item and even appeared on the list. Verified that my bank approved the charge using my established Woot account. Got my email verification like I always do. They basically threw my order away with NO notification and I get the same pat explanations that don't hold water. Also they never answer your questions so don't expect that. They also refuse to take a minute and make this right for an established customer. They really just want you to go away but I'm tired of being a "sucker".

Thank you-I may do that, curious why the customer service guy did not address that. This is my first experience w/Woot, so I appreciate the info.

It took 4 orders for mine to finally go through and I ended up switching the method of payment to PayPal. My first 3 orders were all with different credit cards all with woot shipping addresses identical to the repective credit card billing addressed. I've been told by a friend that changing the zip used by woot from a 9 digit to a 5 digit zip may fix the problem, but I haven't verified that yet.

Hello ROGETRAY today I got my samsung UN40ES7500 and it seems to have a dead pexel or stuck pixel and was wondering if it is possible to get this tv replaced. Maybe I could order another one and then return this one with a bad pixel for a refund

Got mine yesterday and already have it hanging on the wall. The thing is a beauty! The voice recognition is awesome. The weird thing is that none of the screws that I had in three different TV mount kits worked on this tv. They were either too short or too long. Found out that the screws that come with the Ikea cabinets to allow you to adjust height worked nicely so that is what I used. TV had to do a tone of downloading of updates before you can use it. So far so good!

All apps I tried seem to work fine. Netflix, HBO Go, etc. Was worried because this model number, as Lat American device, was not listed as a supported model

I can't seem to get any support with the bad pixel with this tv tried to get it replaced throught woot!. But was told to contact the support number and no answer or any return calls. This SUCKS!!!!

Got mine a couple of days ago but the screen was trashed. Have a return setup since there are no more of these but FedEx and their endless pursuit of being the worst shipping company on the planet won't accept it in the Exact same box they shipped it to me in......? Go Figure.
I guess they're afraid it would get damaged.....too late to worry about that.
I may stick to buying from companies that only ship UPS since this is the second time FedEx has pulled this crap on me.

Just received my TV today ordered march 5. 4 days was fast!! This deal was great, perfect for bedroom. Will be looking for living room tv real soon!

Got mine Friday...no visible damage to the original box which it ships in via fedex which does require a direct signature which I was home. Asked if I left a note on the door or said can the neighbor sign would they have left it..they told me no. Now I unbox everything..TV looks great...fired it up and had quite a few updates once done picture looked beautiful. Then a scene came on where most of the background was gray and sure enough I spotted them...two stuck pixels near the top center about an inch away from each other...one green one red. I am bummed because not sure if I can get another set with the woot deal ending tommorow. They appear to not be sold out right as if rright now 5pm est. I did submit an email to support@woot.com and they gave me a ticket number. Not sure how this will be handled since I have not actually heard from woot yet but I know it is the weekend. I tried leaving it on for a few hours hopeing that it might just start working. I notice it now but on bright color shots you would never see it. Everything else about the TV is awesome. I did call Samsung just to see what they would say...who knows maybe they would give me an 8000 model since there are no more 7000s...I know, don't hold my breath...lol. I asked if there was any software or trouble shooting method that might correct the stuck pixel issue and Samsung does not even try to troubleshoot a dead or stuck pixel. They send you right over to customer support and they will, at no charge, have an authorized service center in your area come out and take a look. Now what they would do at that point? Samsung acted like it was fully covered under the manufactures warranty but my concern is they will not be able to do anything about fixing it and then tell me they will take me through some long process. I guess the best thing would be if woot sent me another one...I verified it was working and then woot paid to have it shipped back. Somehow I fear that is not going to be the way it plays out. So fellow wooters and woot staff how would this exactly play out by what I have described?

I got mine on Wednesday. I just hooked it up today. So far everything is awesome. I have one question though, I got a cheap wall mount kit on Amazon for $30 and it came with 8 different types of screws but they are all to small in diameter. Does anyone know the exact screw size and length you need for this TV? Whatever it said in the manual the kit I ordered said it had those sizes. I see someone else got a kit with the wrong size screw also. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

When the screen is completely black I have white areas on the screen. They're like patches of light coming thru. Is this normal?

Other than that you can't notice, only when it's black.

I have the same problem a stuck pixel and its green and I am waiting to hear from the support. I called the 800 number that woot told me to call. I did speak to them once and was told to first ask woot to replace it. And woot told me to call that 800 number for repairs so I have tried calling and no one answers now. I hoping to hear back from them sometime monday. And yes I agree I wish woot would just exchange it for another one things like this makes me not want to buy anything again from this site. But hopefully woot comes through with a solution for me.

What was the 800 number was it to Samsung?

If my dead pixed wasn't litterally in the top center I would probably blow it off...the red one I can barely see but the green one you do notice on dark solid screens. Guess we can keep each other posted right here. Good luck with yours!

Yeah my stuck pixel is also in the top center too. And your right I really notice it in the black scenes also. Other then that great tv beautiful picture and I will also post when I find out if I can get any help from woot.com or that 800 number.

This is the support number Woot.com gave me and also was on the box by a sticker (800) 249-4958

Has anybody received theirs and been able to update the firmware? I'm getting stuck doing it via wireless - says it will be 4-5 hours then just stops after a few minutes. I can't find the download link online to do it via USB. Customer Service Chat is NO help - say they're trained in US products only and want me to call Latin America.

yes, got mine to go through the whole install in 10-15 minutes on the wireless.
As for cutomer support, give them the model number for the 46" screen size and ask them to toruble shoot that. Should be the same TV just a smaller screen.

Got mine in perfect condition hooked up wireless and the firmware update went fine took about 10 minutes to update the smart tv update took about 10 miuntes and their has been another update with the camera another 2 minutes. So far looks just as good as my Samsung 55" 8000 series.

Really disappointed and frustrated with Woot right now, but I'm glad I found this thread. I purchased this TV from the original Woot, but apparently it was automatically cancelled by their system without notifying me like a lot of people have encountered. I had a confirmation # and everything but it wasn't showing up in my Woots and my card wasn't charged. I contacted customer support, heard nothing... Contacted them again days later and finally got a response but the guy was super brief and basically said "you're SOL, cya!" Replied back again, another person explained a little more but was not helpful at all and offered no alternatives, replied back yet again to her and have heard nothing at all. Found the link on this thread to the re-post of this item for $700 instead on $699.99 and bought it instantly back on 3/7. This time it looks like it actually went through, I was charged the $705. I used paypal instead this time. Problem is it still hasn't shipped and I still have received no updates or notifications from Woot other than the order confirmation. So now I'm not sure if this one will ship either, from what it looks like on this thread most people's shipped within a couple days. Most painful Woot ever.

**UPDATE*** I received an e-mail last night (Wednesday) that it shipped on Tuesday and should arrive tomorrow (Friday). Also, thank you to PemberDucky for looking into this for me.

Thanks Lebastinian. I did find update 1046.2 and did it via usb. Apparently all the 7500's have the same update, which does make it easier. My tv still tried to update to 1047 wirelessly, but then came back saying it's not available yet so I'll wait. The screen on mine is tilted way back at the top. I'm going to have to take the stand apart and reassemble. I know the screws are tight - maybe too tight?

I am still waiting for the TV to arrive. It's been in transit for almost a week now. Any pics from anyone? Would love to see how it looks....
