Well, it seems if I walk Rusty on the same day as physical therapy, my knee gets really mad.

Both son and hubby have some sort of cold, so I had to take Rusty on a short walk.

He usually poops in the yard in the morning. Then, If there is a long walk, once at night.

No night, because he didn't listen when I told him it wasn't a real walk.
He tried to make me go down a block that would lead to a long walk, but it didn't work.

Hubby finally went to the doctor for his heart operation. Dr will give him a date tomorrow. Most likely early June.
I would like to get the knee back to normal before that.

It doesn't make me limp, but it is swollen.
I can't wear my tighter leg pants (no not leggings, I know how old I am...and how fat....not that fat, but not legging skinny)

OK, that is the full report.
See you tomorrow.

Son has finally admitted, he isn't taking the cat to law school.

If the cat would sit in my lap and purr, that would be fine. Nope. He is a no sit in lap and no purr cat.

I know what you mean. We had one of each.

Did son decide which law school?

Goes this weekend to look at the school that offered him a full scholarship.
Then he has to decide.

(scholarship story: Out of the blue, a school he said no to sent him a letter with a full ride. It seems they have a new Dean and he is trying hard to get the school to tier 2. They rose 20 schools last year, since he started. He is offering these scholarships to get better students than might normally say yes to them, to make the school better.)

He put deposits at Buffalo and St Johns. He liked Buffalo much better. He hasn't told St Johns he isn't going yet.

They sent a sweatshirt yesterday. So he got something for his hundreds of dollar deposit.
Nice shirt for rats. Has the hand warmer pocket that rats love.

He has to tell them he isn't going.

He has to make up his mind soon. Hopefully next week, after he sees the last school.

There meaning here in Florida? Until May 31. There meaning Washington? More or less fullitime

Daughter is working hard as usual and does not talk about her loss very much. I know the pain is there and she is coping best as she can.

I did not realize it either until I landed there last fall and found myself needing lung surgery. I realized that being near my daughter was very important both for what little I can do for her and how very much she did and does for me.

Couldn't talk her into Florida? That's going to be tough, going from all that sun to...not sun.

Hey everybody! We are catching up on lots of NC stuff. We are winding down on the cleanup of the overgrown weeds and bushes at the new property. We have some super duper extra strong weed/brush/grass killer that hubby is going to apply on Monday. We finally figured out that by the time we get it all cleaned up that it will be time to start all over. I got cars tags today. Took Daughter to her appointments and washed lots of dirty clothes.

Hubby was holding Elizabeth who was 7 months old yesterday. She patted his mustash and then leaned over and felt daughter's upper lip. What a commedian!

Hi everyone.

Son forgot his antibiotics this morning. Rusty and I had to go bring them to the bank.
Somehow Rusty was all excited and wanted to play with everyone. Maybe he could smell Son before we got in.

Went to dog park, for the first time in a long time.

Sprayed the house down with the hose to get the winter dirt off it.
Trimmed some bushes.

Found the missing dog poop from whenever it was that I couldn't find one.
He picked a new spot.

Went to dinner.

That is all.

Sounds like a great day.

We had an appointment with our financial guy this morning. Somehow I let it slip a couple of weeks ago that we had some cash sitting in CDs and a savings account. He was appalled. He can't stand money that's not making more money, so he came up with several proposals. Also is going to talk next about long-term care. We're kind of torn. I know nursing homes can wipe you out. Anybody know anything about it?

There must be a zombie cat in the neighborhood.

I found a dead bird in the yard. His brain was gone.

I knew I needed to trim the hedges up from the ground yesterday. Gives the cats a place to hide.

Today we are cleaning up our RV. We have considered selling since we spend so much time at the beach. Elizabeth and Daughter came with us. I have a roast and veggies in the crock pot. Hubby has decided it is time to go so I think the crock pot will travel with us.

Ver2's belated birthday party was a success! I made a painting of the death star, cut a hole in it, and we shot nerf darts at it with one of my automatics. I made a drawing of doctor 11 (from doctor who) in a fez and we played pin the bow tie on the doctor, because bow ties are cool. I made a Hobbit cake and so many kids RSVP'd this morning - or just showed up - I actually ran out of plates to serve it on - in 8 years of kid parties that has never happened!

Birthday girl is feeling very very special and has a butt load of Thank yous to write! I think I'll stop at Ross and see if they have more cards, she's going to clean me out!

Yes, it is morning.

Home with Ver1 while Orc took the others to church. Ver1 was all drama so I said she should stay home. I can't go anyway because I have a great huge sore on the bottom of my foot and just walking to the bathroom is enough to make me tear-up. Guess I'm not going anywhere today.
