Good morning everybody! Ice, I hope today is a good day for you and Mrs. Ice.

Daughter's Pomeranians are barking.

8 am 83% humidity 85 degrees outside. Sauna anyone? Off shopping with my driver.

And back. Serious sauna weather. Chest feels like all three cats are sitting on it. Its sad when one gets out of breath just going from the car to the store and back.

Hello all. Looks like rain. Then it doesn't. Then it does. Husband just went out to mow the lawn, so now it'll probably rain.

D'name - smart move.

It just reached 100 degrees heading for 104. Thank goodness it'll be back to the mid 90's sometime this weekend

This building is so darn cold, it feels good to go outside and get in the hot car to go to lunch.

Had dinner with two of my sisters-in-law. We were eating outside and fortunately got done just before the rain hit. Was really windy, leaves all over the place. The storm dropped the temperature but the dew point's still high. This means the ac only runs to keep the humidity out, so it gets stuffy. Have all six ceiling fans going.

The only reason to eat outside is because you have the dog with you.

Bugs.

Hubby better stay healthy, because he has driven me crazy in just one day.
Normally if he is home, he putters around, or works at his desk.

Daughter is back home.

Warning: the following will be extremely boring to the male population.

She fit in my wedding dress perfectly!

All she would need would be a slightly padded bra.

Except it was stored in the attic for years and the lace yellowed and there must be a stain.
Plus it just isn't that fancy.

I did lose a lot of weight before my wedding by doing some unhealthy diet stuff. I wasn't that small.

But the gown was a size 9. Taken in as I lost weight to somewhere between a 5 and 7.

Daughter has never worn bigger than a 3.

She is a 0 at times.

I wonder what is going on with sizes now a days.

That's easy to answer. They're marking larger items with a smaller size. Figured this out years ago when I bought a 14 Liz Claiborn and I hadn't been a 14 since junior high. It just makes you feel good.

We are having the most intense thunderstorm. It sounds like lightening has struck near the house at least twice. The power keeps blinking off and on so the alarm on dad's oxygen keeps going off. He has his hearing aids off so he is still asleep.

The wedding dress try on sounds like fun. I agree with Poof, they have started putting smaller numbers on larger clothes.

I had a nice surprise today when I went shopping. I have been working on losing weight and was wearing size 22 pants. I tried on a pair today and I fit an 18! It definitely explains why my pants keep trying to do the droopy drawers fashion. Thank goodness for hips!

Good morning everybody! I want coffee but if I go to the kitchen the silly Pomeraians will start barking and wake everybody. This looks like the one day in the next 10 that we might not have rain. We were 13 inches ahead for the year last week. We have have several inches more since then.

She is doing ok. Not quite up to going out and doing stuff but not as bad as treatments past. She has at least been able to eat a little bit this round.

Of course, we never met her.

Exciting day.
Hubby decided he felt worse today than yesterday.
Tight chest. numb fingers and toes.

We knew he should go back to the hospital.
Called nurse sister and she said, get an ambulance. You get in the ER faster.

But there is another hospital closer. We wanted the hospital he was operated in.

Went down the block to the vol firemen house. The father might be firechief....not sure.
2 sons in the same firehouse.

Took a little convincing, but he agreed to get us an ambulance.

Hubby had no trouble walking to the ambulance. Got right into the ER.

All the testing came back ok so far. He is now in an observation unit overnight.

Sister in law stayed the whole day. She assured me, we wouldn't have gone home if there was any chance of a problem.

So, best case, all the test are read and he goes home tomorrow morning.

We shall see.

On the other hand....the heart rhythm has been perfect since the operation.

It is possible that the operation (5 hours of poking around inside the heart) has just made the heart sore and that is the chest part.
The numbness might be blood vessels that haven't gotten a consistent flow of blood for years, readjusting.
The tests just aren't showing a heart attack.

Yeah, got an apt there and everything.

Going to Buffalo. State school. Got a little money from them. The 3 years will be cheaper than one year at a private school.

Buffalo is NOT fun in the winter. I spent one winter there. Long time ago, but they had ropes on the sidewalks downtown to hold onto.

Good morning! d'name, glad everybody is back where they belong. We are going to the lake today. Elizabeth thinks it is fun. She hasn't been in the water yet. She is so laid back. She takes her naps on the couch and is happy all the time. She has three teeth coming in. She is a little clingy. She is trying to crawl but hasn't figured it out yet.
